The RM is a well run tournament regardless of age group. Im sure Jonathan would love for everyone to spend money at his store or booth, but he has been involved with SKGSL and the RM for years. He has done nothing but support girls softball in our area!!

REB I could not agree with you more about Jonathan's support of girls softball. If I came off in a different way, it was not my intention.
I was simply trying to explain why a team would "play down" to some people who I feel are misinformed. We plan to support this tournament with our team the same way my oldest DD's team does. As you have said Its all about money and a realtionship helps too. Like you said if there is a team with a relationship and one without the one who the TD knows will get a spot first. In the long run it doesn't really matter what any of us think, what matters is our girls get a chance to showcase themselves in front of the coaches. If someone feels we are taking the wrong directions, So be it. I belive we made the right decision based on the conversations I have had with several other parents.
