After it is all said and in 2009 - And looking at which programs sent a number of teams to Nationals.....Which programs did the best in Texas for 2009?

I am interested to know what everyone thinks and why?

This is not a "Bash a Program" thread....so please lets not use it that way!

By excluding some you've already started the "bash a program" thread.

Good job!

I really don't want to bash but did Texas elite send even 1 team to asa nationals and my vote is for the Shelton Texas Glory. This just must be a North Texas thing. Wheres Rapid Fire???hahaha

Honestly, who gives a @%$#$%. All this is is another way for a bunch of adults to %*$%*, whine and bash each other. When it is all said and done, it is not about the organization but each individual team.

let's find out who's still in the tournaments in each age group from Texas and see who consistently goes the farthest. That will show the depth of the organization year in and year out. I'm not sure you listed all the teams and there are 2 Glory organizations, at least there was before nationals.

Who Played on Saturday from TX?? Let's see who's left standing?

The best program is the one hosted by the "sniffle" club: texasglori, lori, and texasugly. They have proved themeselves repeatedly to be the biggest whiners in the state.

All one in the same...using multiple screen names.

Central Texas / South Texas:

Texas Bombers at ASA:
Bombers Gold - First time to have a gold team and they qualify. Great Accomplishment
Bombers Black 16U - back to back teams at nationals

Texas Blaze -
Blaze Gold - Back to Back at Gold Nationals
Blaze 16U - Back to Back at nationals
Blaze 14U Kirk - 2009 Southern Nationals
Blaze 14U Davidson - 2009 Southern Nationals
Blaze 12U - ASA Nationals
Blaze 10U - ASA Nationals

Who is in line to be the best in 2010. Dallas and Houston programs on the whole have been a big disappointment. With those populations these teams should be finishing higher in Nationals and dominating. It must be coaching. California must have better coaches from top to bottom.

Did some checking because I thought the post about the Texas Bombers only having two teams at ASA Nationals just did not sound right?

Texas Bombers had the following at 2009 ASA Natoinals:

Bombers Gold - First time to have a gold team and they qualify. Great Accomplishment
Bombers Black 16U - back to back teams at nationals
Bombers 96 - ASA Class A Nationals 12U (9th place)
Bombers 97 - Southern Nationals
Bombers 98 - Southern Nationals
