Where is the Austin Wildfire???? They knocked off the 8's in San Marcos a couple of weekends ago. They have several top 5 finishes.

Who is the HOTS??? Hearts of Texas??? If so...that's kinda funny. Isn't that the team with the coach who likes to show the ump he/she is number one. Here birdy!!! birdy!!!

Corp.....another interesting team? Where did they come from? Finshed 4th, who did they beat of note?? Were they at Bombers??? How did they do there?
Not trying to put down.....just looking for some history on them.

The Corps is a decent team. They made a stong push at the end of the fall. Not taking anything away from them, but the only way they are a factor in this tournament is if the stronger teams beat each other up early. HOTS on the poll and not the Wildfire?????. The Wildfire is a very good young 14U team. No lead is ever safe against them. They NEVER give in. They play very good defense and have a ton of team speed. Pitching is not overpowering, but the play very well behind them. They also have a AWESOME lead of batter. If you let her get on the kid will find a way to score. My top 5 would be:

1. Round Rock Crush
2. Blaze Prinzo
3. 8's (if Donnie's dd is there)
4. STE Alice
5. 94 Bombers

If donnies dd is not there move the 8's out and put STE Alice at 3, bomebers at 4 and Wildfire at 5.

Look for Freeze Blue to make a splash......one of top 12u's in Central Texas.

Adding the STE08 to the list of participants really strengthens this tournament at the 14U level; they are a quality team. Dare I say it: I'm picking them to win it. But the ST8s and the Crush could also just as easily take home first place. I'd really like to see these teams square off. It could be very, very exciting if the ST8s are at full strength; I know no opposing team likes seeing Donnie's daughter in the circle. And how about the 93 Austin Stars; they're in the mix, too. Good solid team with terrific coaching. The Storm 14U could make some noise, depending on who they pick up and their injury situation. The Westlake Wildfire could be a spoiler. They're a good team, but not too many quality wins on Sundays. They did beat the ST8s in San Marcos; that was a nice win, although I don't think Donnie's daughter was there for that game. Watch out for #9 on the Wildfire; she's a tough, tough out. All in all, I'd say this will be an interesting tournament. Kudos to the Blaze for having so many quality CenTex and SouTex teams show for this one. Maybe others will sign up late, making it even more competitive.

HEARD THE NIGHTMARE PITCHER PLAYED W/ STE08 @ BOMBER S. AND WILL PLAY ALL MAJOR TOURNEYS W/ THEM! CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM AND HOW WILL THAT AFFECT TEAM ? DOES CRUSH STILL HAVE PITCHER FROM STONEY POINT ?

HAVE THE STX 8's, STE08, RR CRUSH, BLAZE(PRINZO) EVER PLAYED EACH OTHER AND IF SO WHAT WERE THE RESULTS ?

8's and Blaze are new(formed this spring), temp teams....this tournament might be the last we'll see them.....not allot of history. Looking at VTD.....8's finished ahead of Blaze in two tournaments. Crush finished ahead of Blaze in another tournament. If I recall, the Crush and Elite have played each other.....split??? If I recall. Not sure if Elite has played 8's or Blaze, they did finish ahead of 8's in early Feb. Crush just recently got in to the spring season....so I'm not sure they've played the 8's at all.
