Third you get no water in the dugouts. And finally you get to play on 300 foot fields. Keep in mind this is the Elite Showcases.

First - So what? We use our own list.
Second - Hmmm, just you? Or everybody? Never had a problem with coaches showing up before.
Third - We're in Texas. If our kids are at a college look, they are more than likely considering going on to higher education. If we can't learn to hydrate ourselves or our own kids, maybe college isn't such a good option.
Finally - If a right college coach is somehow watching your game even though you sent an email to coach that retired 5 years ago, and if the coach likes late games like yours, and if your kiddo didn't pass out in the sweltering 70 degree night time air from dehydration, then that 250 ft double will surely disappoint the coach.
Come on dude, this is tiddly winks pooh....
JD is only, and I mean ONLY worried about the money. This is the only tournament that will post a person in the middle of the entrance making sure that everyone pays their $10. I understand a reasonable gate fee,but enough with the watchdog.
The entry fee is the highest in Texas...
He is so cheap, he will not even turn on the light anymore and has teams play on Fridays, and in turn probably get hotel kick backs. How many coaches are traveling to a Elite showcase on Friday night...Not many
water.......no water.........and you cant bring water in , it has to be stowed away in a bag to get it through the watchdog.
Concession stand is probably the SLOWEST at any tournament in the world. They have 2 guys working with approx. 200 people at the fields. They are also very expensive.
Going to the Elite Tournaments. . . . Most do not have a choice unless they are the manager of their team. In most cases, if your a team player, you are just going to go. .
Teams leaving the tournament. . . . Most quality teams are making another choice. In the Spring, the Impact puts on a much better tournament and more colleges are chosen them over JD.
To the people that loves the Elite tournaments, please continue to go and support JD.
