Two of the best age eligable pitchers for 14U are 96's but play on 16U teams. You will see them both this spring playing pick up or whatever until their 16U teams reform in May. One is from Baytown and other is from Pearland. There are lots of good ones but these two are at the top IMHO..

I know you were probably looking for pitchers from Texas, but there is a girl who just moved to Arkansas and now plays for one of the Tulsa Elite 14U teams who is the best I watched all fall. She is 6'2'' and I was at a Showcase this fall where a college coach clocked her consistantly in the low 60s. The 14U team she played on was beating all the 16U teams they played.

Katy Force Black, Sudden Impact Gold, Aces Express, Panthers, TPS, Austins Finest, Rattlers and Hawks all have pitchers on their staff that are at, or flirt with, the 60 mph mark with control. They all also have catchers that will turn your lights off if you try and steal on them. A whole bunch of other teams have good pitchers and catchers but the ones listed above have both. I don't know if they are 97's, 96's or 98's.

And where did any of these finish at 14u Nationals last year?

The original poster asked only about pitchers and catchers. More specifically, 97 pitchers and catchers. Which would have made them 12u's last year. So to answer your question...I don't know and don't care. If you would like to know where these teams finished last year you have a few options. 1 - Start your own damn thread asking that specific question, 2 - Research the teams listed above websites, 3 - Pull up the nationals website and do your own dang research. Either way, please stay on topic and try and keep up with the rest of the class. I typed this slow so you could read it.

Aces otherwise known as the Redhots finished 7 th at nationals making them the top Texas team... I've heard and seen that your better 97 catcher is going to come from the aces. 97

That is indeed a whole lot of 60. If it weren't for Ray Ray, Texas might have a shot at some PAC10's with all that speed. Oh well...
