Decent year in 2010 with 10 wins, but tough year in 2011 going 1-15 with an ERA over 5. Decent batting average of .262. Coaches contract was not renewed given the team's lack of competitiveness in SEC. Tough conference. Transfer made sense given Luna's dominance of the time at Texas, but that would not have been known when the decision was made.

Barnhill was a great high school pitcher...also a bit of a head case, and needed someone to knock her down a notch or two. Clark did that.
Brittany and her dad verbally abusing each other in public was legendary. I believe the story goes...that the HS coach at Northwest banned her dad to a deer stand outside of the right field fence for home games.
I hope she finishes strong in her college career.

I hope she gets a useful degree, and turns pro in something other than sports.

Speed is nice, but if it doesn't move, it's going to get jacked in college! She was a great HS pitcher at 40 ft and at 43 the speed got whacked a bunch!

Why do people get on here to criticise a young lady who I am sure does not intentionally try her best to struggle or have a bad season or year. It amazes me how some people think they know a family personally, and then want to put somebody on blast.

Head Case.....Call what you want, I do know that she was hurt most of the year with back problems...Didn't pitcher her first game until mid way through the season this year.

I guess the tourney they played at UNT the first weeking of MARCH counts as midway?
