how about North Texas High School softball, any scoop here................................

looks like district 8-5A will be the toughest one again. Plano High is loaded with Seniors, Plano East only graduated a few, Hebron graduated a few, looks like Flower Mound Marcus will be most effected by graduation.

District 7-5A looks to be very competitive again as well.

District 5-5A should be interesting at the top as well

5-5A will be very interesting. Some schools got better others took a step back due to graduations. Interested to see how it plays out. Still think SGP will win district and then its a race for the other 3 spots.

Legacy will be even tougher this year if they bring in the sophomore pitcher who has verballed to Baylor. They have had her throwing JV.. Crazy. You really could have 2 D1 pitchers throwing 1 and 2 for Legacy. If she does that then yes, I would agree Legacy is the team to beat. If not, then I still think it is SGP.
Here is my picks for district 5-5A
1 or 2. SGP
2 or 1. Legacy
3 or 4. Timberview
4 or 3. Mansfield
These four can change some.. But think this is the top 4. JMO

HHMMMMM............so your sayin the sophomore from last year that blanked Hebron for 6 innings in the playoffs at Byron Nelson HS has committed to Baylor?? I know they had a 6ft. flame thrower head case freshman last year that pitched jv and got pulled up for the playoffs but surely she hasn't committed to Baylor.

WOW... some one is rude. Headcase or not. Yes she committed to Baylor. And yes the one they pulled up to throw instead of the JR pitcher.
Why not leave the kid out of it and comment on the facts of the district. I am sure all teams have problem children. But they are kids.

Wow....so you are confirming the head case, I'm just going off of hear say. Thought they already had a stud D1 pitcher, so you are saying they have 2 with one being committed to Baylor. Wow......does the coach know about this?? Surely he's not having a Baylor commit pitch JV. What about the one that blanked Hebron last year in the playoffs?? How many pitchers do they have??
