This team from the Greater East Austin Youth League (GEAYL) has been winning tournaments around Central Texas for a couple of years. They usually show up with 18 players, have at least 4 pitchers, they can hit and play small ball, and they do have a slight reputation for coach unsportsmanlike conduct. A little delay ball, a little arguing with the umpires, some pretty vocal parents have irritated opponents around here. When this team is on, they play some serious softball for some young kids. They are alot of fun to watch as a spectator. Congrats.

Wow you must be a parent trying to gas up this team... Triple Crown tournament, give me a break, it's nice win and all but lets see if they can make the big dance in Normal first and then we will see how good they really are against the best in the country IF* they make it....

Softball G, no one here is "gassing" up this team. So your statement,
Wow you must be a parent trying to gas up this team...
seems out of place. What is so true is how BIG CITY teams come to play in OK or Bombers and come away with no hardware. They make alot of excuses. Austin's Finest is a team that can put together some wins. No one said they are going to ASA A Nationals to win it all!

when a person makes a whole thread about a team winning a Triple Crown tournament then yeah I would consider it "gassing up". This came out of nowhere, a Triple Crown tournament win is not that big IMO.

If they are not planning to go ASA then why play in the Texas ASA state tournament and HOF qualifier? Never said they couldn't win, I saw them in San Antonio and they can compete like red_white said but let them prove it first at ASA

Af 96 is a really good team havent had the exposure they need to be considered a top team, but if im not mistaking they can compete in ASA they are the ones that knocked out texas fusion in the hof qualifier in SA.
