Who's joking? I'm just interested to know how this statement,
especially an "A" ball team
from the OP has any relevance in the conversation.

The simple answer to this issue is remove your child from the team and let all the other parents know why you're doing it, unless of course being on this particular "A" ball team is more important than your kid's possible safety and/or your own peace of mind.

A coach has three felonies, two for drugs, and ONE FOR MURDER, and he got out young enough to still be coaching? Sounds like a problem both with who is allowing him to coach, and our legal system for allowing him out.

This sort of thing is a matter of public record. If you have an issue of substance with a particular coach then do the community a public service and relay what you know. Otherwise, this is simply a waste of time.

I got you Area 51, a waste of time. Well we will see if our softball association feels the same later today when I speak to them. I will keep you updated. I just needed some feedback on an issue like this. Seems like we as parents and representatives of teams and associations where our DD play need to make sure that Backgrounds are enforced. Something has got to give or I guess we will wait until something horrible happens that wakes us up. Trust me, I will update you guys on what happens, hopefully there won't be a bad precedent set by allowing someone like this coach.
