Confused about 12U southlake

I noticed that 97 Batbusters Spuria won 2nd place in Southlake. But I also know they were playing Metro at Gateway. Mizuno 98 was in Gateway as well but listed as playing in Southlake.

Please tell me your secret on playing in two tournaments at the same time. I must give you kuddos for that. That is some serious dedication!

Also, I thought Southlake was giving 1st, 2nd, 3rd for all the pools. Only noticed one 1st and 2nd but two 3rds. Could have just been put in wrong.

Joe please don't turn this into a VTD vs. ASA thing. It isn't one I just really want to know how they did it. I am sure alot of coaches would be interested also. Getting those girls to play two tournaments in one HOT weekend is nothing to sneeze at.

How was this possible? Inquiring minds want to know!!

ASA 12U Qualifier was originally scheduled for June 24/25. Due to Ft. Worth employee issues, it was moved to June 19/20, same weekend as 12U SL tourney. Several teams had conflicts. Some teams dropped out of SL, messing up all the pools. Some teams played both tourneys. Both TDs cooperated in scheduling so that teams could play both tourneys. Both organizations did very well under the circumstances.

Now Ken would that have been so hard to answer.

I knew they where at both just really wanted to know how they did it.

Glad the TD's stepped up and didn't make them choose either tournament and worked around their schedules.

And yes they both had a good showing playing in both. Unfortunately, people like Joe can't take honesty on the boards.

HeeHaw Joe. How's the Donkey's doin'? The umps were a little inexperienced in South Lake (except Mullet). Feilds good despite heat.

We won our pool (C)... my DD is 1stB 19 with the Black Widows & one of the original Donkey's. Some of the teams we played were younger but fought hard... some were first tournament rec teams.

Uhmmmm...I guess if I was Ken I would have answered exactly that.

...so put your Sherlock Holmes hat on and keep fishin' Danny...

..after much thought though...your apparent stalking and/or obsession with Ken and his buns of steel make me wonder a bit...

Are you feeling well?

How were the mystery scores for BB Spuria and Mizuno 98's forfeited games determined?
