Which Texas Softball Programs are Consistent D1 Feeders?

Just to clarify. The athletes that you list as Storm here is the Texas Storm out of Houston, not the Storm out of the Central part of the state.

A more valid question would be how many finished school and where are they now? Did they put their opportunity to good use?

Why is that a more valid question? I mean I share your hope that when these girls are going off to college that they are getting a good education but you know as well as I do this isn't always the reality, athlete or not. I hope most of these programs are teaching valuable life lessons to these girls that they can use well beyond softball, but it's certainly not the sole responsibility of the fastpitch organization, (or apparently in some cases-organizationS,) to get these kids to be responsible students. The poster wanted to know which organizations consistently fed players into Division I programs. Seems like a valid enough question to me.

It's more valid because... like any opportunity, it's what you make of it that counts. There are a few on these lists who still make a decent living in softball, however, I know of several who didn't finish school or who majored in softball while letting the academic side get away from them. Simply speaking...they got to the promised land only to see it slip away....and you're correct...not unlike many college students.

Many, the vast majority I would presume...did get their money's worth and moved on to successful, enjoyable careers outside of softball.
