They are a great 12U team. Those wins really should not even be in a conversation about "very good 14U teams."

CenTex Buzz Chambers seems to have fared a little better. They played in the Bomber which we could also use as a measuring stick. They were a non-factor there. So while the following VTD history is a bit more impressive, when thrown in with what many on HB considers the top 14U teams, they finished 3rd in their pool. Note that they DNP in another tournament in which the TD was lazy and did not report anything.

Loss by 1 to HOT Rage
Beat 98 Team
Beat ASU 97
Beat 97 Swat
Loss to 97 Showtime
BOMBER
Beat Texas Prospects
Beat CenTex Express 14U
Beat Texas Dirtbags
Beat Big Red
Beat Texas Dirtbags
Loss to Glory Adkins
Beat American Freedom Kennedy
Beat 98 Team
Beat 98 Team
Beat TX Trouble 5-2
Loss to HOT Rage

Hey if you can explain why a 12U team is relevant in a conversation about 14U teams, we are all ears.

You know I have only been coming on this website for a few weeks and it is a trip how serious we veiw someones opinion . Look I wrote this because I know those teams and I think that they are pretty good but that is my opinion . You can probaly take every team in Texas and find a good lose here and a bad lose their but how do you realy know who is better if this team hasn't played that team or that team hasn't played this team or if sthtx has better teams than nthtx or if asa , vtd and whatever esle you name has better competition you or me realy don't know . U notice I didn't realy rank any teams or say who I think they are better than . I have seen alot of teams I think are dam good .But the only way you could actualy know is hold a Texas tournament for everybody and that isn't going to happen . It's all in fun looks like I hit a nerve with a few of you .

It's not for wimps... and takes hours and hours of training to compete here and be heard...

Now...belly up and tell justaburger just how it is. Go ahead...let's see what you're made of.

I don't think you hit a nerve, I think we were all just trying to entertain your comment. That's kind of the point of a message board. I don't think either Joe or I have anything vested in any teams from the HOT. We're just talking. I'm an old, opinionated, grump and Joe doesn't like anybody.

To answer you though, you're right. It's very hard to tell how good these teams are because they really haven't played any body. Dirtbags are in DFW for a friendly and for HOF so that should be a pretty good indicator I would think.

All the teams mentioned are very good teams, and can compete with Houston teams . We played a houston team for the championship last season at the Bombers shootout and (Katy cruisers) did win. We played all sorts of Houston teams in the Ronald McDonald and some were good and we split the championship as co champions due to late night and travel reasons. We will always look for tournaments with good teams for beter comp.and will play in Houston again im sure, NOT SCARED. Any Houston team can be be beat aswell as CenTex Teams.
