Does anyone have a link to the bracket?

http://www.registerasa.com/Tournament/V ... &mtid=1021

I seem to have missed it but when and where did Axe qualify for this?

Or Storm, Power and Poole?? How many qualified out of Wichita Falls??

Good question. I would have thought Aces and Cleats would have been awarded before Power, Storm, and Axe unless these teams declined.

All I know is the tournament director in Wichita Falls failed the Aces!! He said he emailed our coach three different times about a spot in the HOF, but not once did he pick up the phone and call! I do not know if Sneaky Cleats was contacted and declined, but that is a horrible way of doing things. To have gone to that qualifier in 110 degree heat and thirty mile hour winds and not get a berth is pathetic!! He should be ashamed of himself. We tied for fifth and a couple of teams behind us are playing the HOF. I wish them luck.

What is so wrong with emailing a coach as a form of communication? Because your coach didn't respond he "failed" your team?

This is one of many negative responses I expect to get from my post "Mr. Spazsdad". And you get to be the first. Not even Texas related, but you have an opinion on everything, so I am not surprised. You beat 3monkeys and several other haters to it.

The real problem coming from the fact that our coach called the TD the Monday after the tournament to express her desire for her team to play in the HOF and ask him if there would be any other berths other than the two that were guaranteed. She gave him her phone number and asked if he would call her if there were more. Maybe she is at fault for not calling him
or emailing him, but that was not what he expressed that she would have to do. He had her number but apparently decided not to call her.

Just so you know "Mr. Spazsdad", our manager does not have a dd on the team, nor has she had one playing for several years. She does it because she loves it and she feals wronged by this guy not calling her. Wronged for the girls sake, not hers. A whole lot of girls here in Texas longs to play at the HOF.

I am sure things are different in California and I am also sure you will have a comeback to this post. All I am trying to convey, is that the TD did not handle things the way they should have been handled, for the sake of the 10 girls we had with us battling that 110 heat and thirty mile an hour winds.

Can you live with that? It is about the girls dude!! We are not as perfect here in Texas as you are in California. I say that because of you, not because of anybody else in that state.

Have a good day and good luck!

Sorry that you took such offense to a simple post.
Of course based on your history here I guess you couldn't help yourself.
As far as your coach not having a kid on the team I don't know what that has to do with anything or why you felt the need to bring it up. And oh yeah, it's always about the girls.
There, you got your response, now continue feeling all butthurt
Have a good day

You pissed in my Cheerios, that's who. Exactly what I expected from you. What does my history on here have to do with the price of beans? There are 13 girls that would have loved to go to the HOF, and they were not given that opportunity by the TD of Wichita Falls... You just look for ways to take jabs at people. The very same people that help make Heybucket what it is. And because of a lot of those same people, Heybucket is not what it used to be.

But, there will always be Spazsdad. ;) Hey John, control this dude!

A lot of things can go wrong with e-mailing . Many people use work e-mail addresses that have firewalls that can prevent e-mails from being delivered , sometimes valid e-mails can be sent to spam and just one small error typing in an e-mail will obviously prevent it from being delivered . For something this important especially to kids it would seem that after three failed attempts somebody would pick up a phone and call to speak with the coach in person . She didnt turn down the offer . His claim was no response.

Sorry Mark, I apologize for not responding on one of your rants. I was waiting to be 5th before I chimed in. I am sure your concerns are wholeheartedly about your "TEAM" and not just your interests. ;) I mean, come on, do you really want an invite for coming in 5th place?

Yes sir. Fifth place was pretty good in that tournament and better than three of the teams that are going to the HOF. My dd has been to the HOF before but some of the girls on our team have not and it is those girls that I feel bad for.

TD said he didn't have time to make any phone calls to which I say BS. A tournament this big and you don't have ten or fifteen minutes to call the next four or five teams in line? I can tell he is in it for the girls. Oh yeah.

Nice to hear from you 3monkeys. You been quiet since we last talked.

Anus27...

Sounds like the TD had many calls to make. You couldn't make one to seek clarification? You may want to vent to your coach who f'd it up for "the girls" by not picking up the phone and finding out for herself. In the business world, we call it "covering all bases". Good managers don't let opportunities slip away.

What say you?

Too bad about missing out on the HOF National Qualifier.
Our team qualified then had to give up its berth due to a High School tournament.

Predictions on 1st place anyone?
My prediction is Oklahoma Force '94.
Here is a link to the bracket:
http://tournamentasa.com/i!/brackets/Re ... 3&BSID=682

Why does this tournament have so many Texas and Georgia teams?
Oklahoma only recieves 2 berths. Is it due to the total amount of ASA teams in Texas and Georgia? I know Oklahoma ASA is almost dead. Maybe only 25 teams registered in 16U.
