Congrats Angus. DD was in the All American game last year. Cool seeing your kid play ball on TV. She had to miss part of their pool play game, but felt it was worth it. Her team made it in time to cheer for her and got some good face time on TV also.

I don't know why they can't set this up so kids don't miss scheduled games with their team. I guess its just a lot of games trying to happen in a finite period of time.

DD didn't make All- American game. Have got to wonder really just how the teams are picked?? DD hit a homerun and walked in two at bats. Struck out four of the batters she faced in the two innings she pitched, but did not make it. No big deal as she wouldn't have been able to play because of two pool games that were eventually rained out.

The hotel situation got a lot better too. Free parking did the trick.

So glad the hotel situation got better Anus. That makes it all worth while!
