Oops...I almost forgot, there was one other "committed" player, that supposedly left to find better "coaching"! Really! REALLY! Surely you are not citing that as your example! I can claim that I am a professional athlete, but it doesn't make it so! If that is the case, I am formally announcing that I am verbally committing to Florida as a catcher! Even if I am a 48 year old man, makes no difference! I am committing! And I am getting a full ride! Lay off the Hooka, Hokie!

Sad to say...but the truth is... Broken promises...and lies...No feedback from Coaches on Mizuno...Negative reinforcement...and NO fun for the kids...All I have from this ride is an empty pocketbook and a GREAT kid who was PROMISED A LOT of playing time with the BEST colleges around to see her play...Inexperience and EGO is a big problem on this team...When these coaches figure out what matters the most is that these kids rely on them for positive leadership...they will have found the secret ingredient to a truly successful team. From what I see at Mizuno...wasted time.

Flatline ALERT - Mizuno Impulse is not showing a pulse. Code blue! Code Blue!

If we are quick enough, might get a weak pulse back...but doctor I think we are going to lose this patient!

Name change on the way maybe? Mizuno NoPulse? Told you, by the end of the summer the rest of the people we see how they were manipulated and deceived.

Exactly Spaz! My experience has been a lot different, I was never promised playing time for my DD! But then again, I would NEVER think to ask that! I want my kid to EARN her time! Again, never experienced it! This is a first year org., and I'm sure there is and will be growing pains! That said, I have no problems with the colleges we've been exposed to! Do they all give feedback to me/my DD? NO! Probably because either she doesn't have the talent level for that level, OR she doesn't fit what they are looking for! I'm fine with that! I don't care where she ends up playing as long as I can get her a good quality education! Our time is coming to a close, as she will probably sign in Nov. I will say that the things I bring away from this experience is my kid got to develop at something she enjoyed, we got to spend time together, she stayed busy(and out of trouble), we saw some areas of the country and unique things. And from my parent side of things, it was fun having hotel parking lot parties with other teams from around the country! Grilling and smoking different types of meat with some other parents, especially those that "Get" it! And meeting some people who put in a lot of time(mostly unpaid)...coaches like Greg Corbin, Brian Sidwell, Max Ellison, Slade and Stephanie Maloney, Jason, christina, Alex and the rest of the contributors! Thing I won't miss the most is people who don't "get" it! And adults who like to be involved in drama that rivals any "reality" bs you see on TV! I have been guilty into letting myself be baited into participating sometimes, but I will try and refrain from now on! I personally always have and will continue to prefer to do it face to face, however for most of the negative drama queen/king posters that like drama....they prefer to do it "anonymously" Good Luck to all at nationals etc. and hope the texas teams all do well! Dan Beaty aka Honcho! :ugeek:
