That list is crazy. Almost all of those teams that you said are Gold, where at the Region 7 qualifier in Ft. Worth but most of them did not qualify

3 teams from North Texas qualified last year and you have 2 of them as maybe, but many more as Gold!!! that haven't done anything

There is truly not that many true GOLD teams out there in DFW that can compete nationally--I think the Region 7 Gold Qualifier proved that this year.

360--My daughter has graduated already and playing softball at Northwestern. She actually made her rounds through the ranks before settling down with Glory,and then scholarshipped to Northwestern. When we played for the batbusters, it meant something..we were good. After we left, they started expand...

Will VTD use to be fun also until this crap happens..This isn't a forum to cure cancer or how we are going to get the next rocket into space this is softball forum. I would like to recognize all the coaches like DAN, SLADE, Shelton, Bell, JD etc and other top coaches in the area that sometimes get polked fun at and realize it's harmless fun and they are man enough not to throw a fit on here, btw Dan had a good day on here today.

I hope we are adult enough to leave players names out of the forum, so we can continue to have fun pushing the line of humor with each other.

All the top organizations and top coaches please consider it a honor that people are talking about you and your teams that means your getting it done on and off the fields. Lots of times when coaches get on here they are funny and stating the facts about their teams or organization and giving bulletin board material to other coaches to fire their teams up.

Hell Lori can even be fun.

To everyone keep up the sharp tounge in cheek humor don't take life so serious and for heaven sakes don't mention JP's name again.

I think it is great that we have a place that coaches, parents, players, umpires and even spectators can come on and say what they think without anyone deleting them as a user. If you have followed VTD over the years, I have always spoken my thoughts and signed my name so as not to hide behind a login.

There was one big thread on VTD a few years back where I was going back and forth with someone. Turned out it was a very close friend of mine just giving me crap to see if I could figure out who he was. The Miller Lite syrum prompted him to talk one night! It is all harmless and ultimately has no effect on what we all do on and off the field. I may be more likely to respond than most of the Glory family but I certainly respect the opinion of others.

Something that has been fun from the Ultimate college softball forum has been going to college tournaments and meeting other "usernames" from the thread. We all disagree about things on there from time to time but putting a name and face with the threads has been fun.

Lori speaks the truth most of the time. Her Gold responses are 100% on the mark. I am from CentTex, and if we can beat you 95% of the time, then you are not gold.

Here in Centex, we have one team that has ever qualified for Gold, ( Texas Blaze). We have one that did well before Gold ( Austin Storm) , but is still alright from year to year. The Texas Stix, are OK, but they have alot of parent involvement.

The rest are "first year gold" and are only saying they are GOLD. No evidence or wins to back it up.
