Yeah he does. I'd like to know also. Better question...Why are you all over his sack? Your DD just make the squad?

She's not on his team. She takes hitting from him. He fixed her swing and works well with her. He can spot a mile away the adjustments she needs to make. He might not work for all players, but mine has definitely benefitted. I Just hate to see a guy get bashed who seems to be trying to do something for fastpitch in the area that is not part of the Glory. I know some great families and players in the Glory pipeline, but that doesn't mean that should be the only avenue for talented girls in DFW.

You know it's just trendy for people to come on here and bash the latest & greatest. Half the people that post negative stuff on here are parents of very young B-ballers. I'm not sure how his organization will do but I'm very close with the family of a girl who was one of the most feared hitters in the area and was coached by Mark so I guess the guy knows something!

I think the Glory gets bashed more than any other team on here though-certainly way more than D-Bat has so far.

I would think that any large successful organization is going to have its detractors. I've heard and seen good and bad things about almost all of them. Parents are going to have their gripes. Players are going to leave one organization for another due to playing time, competition, or personality. Coaches will get frustrated because of turnover and be on the lookout for the latest and greatest. D-bat is just going to give players and their families another option. Unfortunately, it might affect the success of some of the other teams if they lose players to D-Bat, but maybe there's some undiscovered talent out there just needing a chance. Players that two years ago just blended in might be standouts that are looking to step up. I know it's idealistic, but they are out there. Maybe some of the coaches would be willing to challenge themselves to develop these players if some of their current studs leave.

Besides being the epicenter of daddy-ball, DFW severely lacks good coaching. Notice I did not say game managemnt..they have that part down.

When is the last time one of ur coaches did any type of cont education, watched a college practice, took a player with an obvious flaw and worked with her one on one, went to a coaching clinic, etc?

The answers 9 times out of 10 are none-cont ed, never- college prac, didn't- just cut her, and once- one clinic two years ago. Too many egos, too much talking, and not enough listening.

IMO we are falling behind quickly. Forget Cali teams.. now we are second fiddle to Houston..especially in the older age groups.

So if Dbat and Glory can change that, more power to them. Just leave the political crap behind.

Not a good start for a guy who thinks he is the softball equivalent of Rudy Jarmillo.

What in the world are you talikng about? This is a discussion about linear vs. rotational hitting. Is it the Right View Pro thing? Mulvany uses it, but he's not the owner of the company.

You sure do have a beef with this guy. What has he done to you or your DD to bring out such vindictiveness?

The guy talking in the video that is being made fun of is Mulvany. You didn't pay attention.

I really don't have a beef with Mulvany, but seriously, he slinks off for two years after the NTX Shockers/Texas Legands fail miserably for several years. Mulvany gets hired at DBAT, and now he comes back slamming every existing organization, and proclaiming himself and DBAT the saviors of North Texas softball. Read his posts on VTD.

What sort of softball credentials does Mulvany really have to make that claim? What about DBAT? They do have a great marketing campaign though.

If Tony Rico comes to town and takes over DBAT, I'll be moving my kid to DBAT tomorrow, but until then, I'll leave North Texas softball in the hands of the coaches and organizations with track records of success on the national and regional level.

Seriously Mark, win a couple of games, qualify for a national tournament, then tells us how your going to save North Texas softball.

The DBAT baseball owners have no understanding of what it will take to build a successful softball program. The new DBAT parents will figure that out soon enough.

ROFL!!!! Yeah, sounds like they could use a $bail-out right about now.
