In reply to Brook's Dad.......... Is that why we are not seeing some of the other top contenders that would either place or win? Ex. Round Rock Blaze, 95 Texas Glory, 94 Texas Glory (Elliott), 94 Texas Fusion (Sidwell)? If you ask my opionion, Peppers or Fusion would Possibly be the best 94 Team out there.

P.S. To bad 94 TNT doesn't come down for the tournament. Did't they place 4th at ASA Nationals last year?

Yep, they were 4th. The reasons I hear for not going to the Bomber are field conditions, not starting the season in such a big tournament, and $ (especially with high spring costs of new equipment, large # of tournaments, more tournament travel, HOF, Nats, etc). It would be cool to have a Best of TX tournament though.

The H.O.F quailifer will be your best of Texas tournaments. And it's probably the only way your going to get all the big dawgs to gather in one place to play. Until then all the other talk is just that....

by the way that livewires Ark. team is probably the best I've ever seen come out of that state. They had some hard hitting girls last fall, if they still have them they can play with anybody.

That Allen tourny should be a good North Texas showdown.
4 - glory teams
2 - Fusion teams
2 - Elite teams
1 - Batbuster - missing Batbuster(montoya)
2 - Okla. teams
1 - Ark. (Livewires)
2 - Austin teams

Plus you can count on good fields and you can bring your own cooler!

Flash 4, I believe if you look at the Fusion (Sidwell) team you will find out that they are not a pure 94 team. They do have very talented 94 pitchers, but unless they changed the roster they have a handful of 93 players, and without those 93 players they would be a totally diffrent team.

I would think the top true 94 Texas teams would have to be 94 Batbusters (Montoya) placed 9th in 12U ASA A Nationals, 94 Peppers placed 13th in 12U ASA A Nationals, and 94 Texas Glory (Elliott) placed 2nd at 12U CO Fireworks last year. 94 Texas Glory and 94 Texas Elite should be competitive as well. I understand Elite has added some talent, and 94 Texas Glory may have rebounded from the loss of their pitcher to Fusion last fall.

Opps..... I didn't realize that they weren't a true 94 team so thanks for pointing that out.

And the '95 T.T. team has added enough pitching to be able to compete and win with the 14's.

I agree that this is a strong team but don't they have the same pitchers from 2007? I heard that one left during the fall from lack of pitching time and has now returned but who else was added.

I think they added one from Shabang and one from the Monarchs.

94 Peppers placed 13th in 12U ASA A Nationals, and 94 Texas Glory (Elliott) placed 2nd at 12U CO Fireworks last year.

Just to add.... they finished 2nd to the Peppers - who themselves finished 2nd the year before (losing to the Broken Arrow (OK) Dolphins).

It was a GREAT Championship Game - it was decided on the last pitch.
When asked how many times she hit Tiger with the golf club, she responded, "I'm not sure...put me down for an 8!

Don't know much about what happened to the TX Peppers at the last Bomber tournament but I find it hard to belive the Bombers told a parent they could not bring in medicine for their kids. I do know they use different a complex for each age group. What did the tournament director say to the parent?

Also it didn't look like they had any problem getting teams, so how bad could the fields be?
