You may have started it, but I guarantee you that if I hadn't got on here it would have never made it to 1000!!! :) Now lets see what kind of crap can be said about me over that comment. I have never played a 96 or 97 in one of my games in 10U and thanks Tex for answering that question about the 98's for me. I am trying to get better at this so I don't upset so many people. :(

So does this mean your leaving

Now your passing judgement on a team for not playing a friendly game? Uhhhh who was it that quit in the middle of a bracket? LMAO

No judgement passing Zit, just a comment. I hold the Thunder team in high regard as they have beat just about everybody in 12U plus several good 14U teams. Their coaches are great guys and everybody that plays on that team are good people too. Every single one of them. It was very hot out there that day and by them dropping it meant somebody might not get to play one of their games. Everything was taken care of and the Fury played the Fusion and it was all good. They probably had good reasons for not playing, just saying I was dissappointed that they did not play. I am sure they will be ready in Illinois.
FYI - I didn't quit in the middle of a bracket, I elected not to play the championship game against a team that was far better than us because my girls had already played six games that day, accomplished what we needed to by beating everybody else we played and "we", as a team, decided not play the last game. My girls were very excited to get back to the hotel and get in the pool. I will say that I do regret not playing as it is something I have never done before and probably will never do again. Now, what team are you with?? :D

I just can't over the fact that you elected not play in a championship game WTH is wrong w/u. That's just nuts. Why would you do that? I must say I think its a first for me to hear that one. I would be ONE PISSED OFF parent. Hot or Not you battle til the end whether you get your anus handed to you or not. What kind of message is being sent to the kids when your Coach rolls over say's we made it this far so lets quit because we suck and they're "A" team. Look at the "Bad News Bears" they sucked but they went down fighting and they were at best "B" All-star Team. You're killing me Smalls. Go SKI We're #1.

Hotbox, as usual I totally agree with you

There is no reason I can even think of where a team refuses to play in a championship game.
The reason you play is to get there and then do all can do to win!!!
I don't care if you have played 20 games that day. Give the girls a chace to come thru and win it all. Coach they might suprize you if you just give them the chance. As the time-x commercial says take a licking and keeps on ticking. You did not give them the chance to keep on ticking. I feel very, very disappointed for the girls!!

I am the manager so I will take all the heat for the decision that was made. Like I said B4, I have had second thoughts and wish we would have played, but what is done is done. Nothing else I can do about it now.
As for SKI being number 1, where do you get that from?? Is that 98 or 99?? or maybe not even in the 10U group?? I do not know if anybody that is responding on here is in the 99 class, but we will be a team to be reckoned with in the spring of 2010. Amid all the quitter jokes, know that it will never happen again and all of this has just made me want to be even better than we can be. I do not know if you have actually managed a team in select ball, I suspect not.

No but I'm getting FIRED up about going. I think I'm going to fly with JC if he'll have me ;) ;). Rumor has it he's trying to stack his team with a New utility player and a pickup pitcher is it True?
He's claiming she throws 50-53! Must be a Louisiana Gal with them der sprangggs in her legs.
