Whats up Texans? I'm not completely understanding why you guys want so many teams in the A bracket. A 2nd year team doesn't necessarily make the grade. You don't want to travel to a tournament where you'll be whipping everyone's fannies do ya- what a bore. The teams on the roster listed for A are the better teams - I've seen many of them play and most are good. Its not important that many are from Texas - (feel proud that you guys are able to produce so many corn fed softballers). We want good competition and if we place high - yeehaa - and if we don't we'll try harder in the year after next- you will never see our team in the B bracket - EVER- we will only go to the World Series when our team is in it's 2nd year and ready to win - we don't ever want B. B is first year and not up to par 2nd years. Let them stay in B where they belong. See ya in Panama Longhornys- GRRRRRRRRR

Ok, so I said I was keeping my mouth shut but being that we are all hypocrites around here I want to say one thing. Hey Ninja, I have to compliment you on your DD. She is probably the best 10u catcher I have seen. I know what is involved to being a catcher (especially in this Texas heat) and she is very impressive. You should be very proud. #1 is lucky to have her. So much attention is given to the pitchers, I think our catchers get overlooked. Good luck to everyone at nationals. I am sure you will represent our great state well.

Thanks Sftballfanatic , it's nice to hear she's recognized for her hard work. It’s a working position that gets the short end of the stick a lot of the time but thankfully we have a ton of support from the Coaches, Parents and Teammates. Give it up for the Catchers..... I wish you and your DD the best of luck in the future who knows we may cross paths again. Thanks again SFTBF

I don't think there should be 2 different divisions anyway! to me it shows the girls and the team that you don't have faith in them. To have a winning team... your players need to know that you BELIEVE in them and you will get more out of them.
