They were unlucky with a tough draw and in hind sight I probably gave them too much credit based on past performances.... However, the biggest surprise was Glory Adkins. I guarantee, nobody from this area had them winning this thing. This team had been in such disarray over the past year. Leading up to the tournament, they had repeated posts looking for players. The few good players they had, left for other teams. Then all of a sudden they show up with this team in Midland that nobody really knew. They went out and basically picked up a team from older girls.

Now this is a new one...

Crying about your "tough draw" and then whining about the team of pick up players winning it...
If you want us to feel sorry for you can you at least come up with something original? Like....the A/C in my Motel 6 room didn't work... or... that double meat/double cheese anus burger we ate gave us food poisoning...

I mean, c'mon...bad draw and those bad-ass pick up players from Glory...Really?

Mark - thanks for the reply. By your own post it looks like you have been affiliated with 6 different teams in the last 3 years. That seems to be quite a few teams. I do not your history or your personal situation so I will not be an idiot and try to state the circumstances involved with those situations. However, it does demonstrate a fairly clear pattern and I have my own guesses as to why all of the changes. Bottom line is you and I do not see eye to eye on certain things. I can assure you, you are not the only one with a talented DD. I simply choose to raise my DD with certain philosophies which I feel will better prepare her for life down the road. Some of those characteristics are commitment, loyalty, endurance and unselfishness. Life will not always be easy, you may also miss out on some opportunities, but the bottom line is if you have the perseverance to see your way through those challenges, there is very little in life you cannot overcome.

Try going back and reading my post again. I was referring to Mark's repeated philosophy of wanting his cake and being able to eat it too. That type of mentality usually is found in people who are spoiled, totally consumed with themselves, and have a large sense of entitlement. One could make the argument that this sense of entitlement and selfishness is directly contributing to the decline of our society.

But to be fair, I will answer your question:

"How do mature members of society who elevate the good of mankind decide where their kids play?

The answer is really simple - they dont play VTD tournaments and solely play ASA because they know that is where the best competition is and that is what our country is founded on - competition. Playing VTD is like supporting the French, and "these colors dont run."

Routon's Fusion? If true... that explains Jemima's predicament. She wears a huge one and I'll bet Jemima falls in line quick when she shows it...

You are entitled to your own opinion, however, I believe I am more close to the truth than being wrong. I can assure you with 100% certainty there is no jealousy on my part. I am completely blessed and there is nothing he has that I would want.

Yeah, I'll bet you do get all of it you want...

So now Jemima...when Routon shows it, do you run or are you the first in line? Do you say, "me first, me first...me, me, me"?

Does she have ASA stamped on the side?

You have to be the biggest azz I dont know. Your obnoxiousness knows no limit. You bring innocent people into discussions without their consent and put them in unsolicited, unflattering dialogue. Do us all a favor, and stick to bashing ASA and quit making stupid references to all things anal, adult novelties and other sexual innuendos.

Again Joe, you are speaking about a professional woman, a wife, a mother and a successful coach of a young girls softball team. To imply she engages in this type of activity is beyond reprehensible, and frankly if attorneys got involved could potentially be deemed as defamation of character and libel.

What happened to all that crap you like to spew about this being all about the girls and how we all need to support this great sport we love. What exactly are you contributing to the sport with all of your typical sexual references?

Well...I apologize. NOT!

I'm just speaking to your level...you know... the one that has no problem going after some kids playing a game under VTD...but then wants to lecture me about "innocent people" and "consent"? Next time... I'll call and get permission from your Dom. :o

Sexual innuendo? Uhmmmm...have you looked at your avatar lately?
