Best 14U Teams in NTX

by fastpitchfever16 » Thu Mar 08, 2012 9:42 pm

Ok here I go again I dont know why I let this bother me but it looks like "POP" is another in the long line of FC parents that pathetically try to disguise themselves in order to come on here and brag about their team when they perform well. Just like "lots of miles" and many many others. Do you really expect us to believe that you just joined the bucket on March 5th of this year and you are a 12U parent with a "whole team at a church picnic" but hey I think I will pop onto the bucket create myself a user name and start posting on the best teams in NTX forum. Just like we are supposed to believe that lots of miles just happen to join about the same time as the FC get a couple of new players last fall and they only post about the FC, but OH NOOOO they are not PC parents in fact they are not even 12U, they just happen to live "down the road" from an unposted friendly and had nothing better to do except go watch some games and then get on HB and post about them. You FC parents are ridicules. If you want to come on and tout your team fine and you can even do it anonymously, nothing wrong with that. But dont insult our itelligence by creating new user names and BS stories about church picnics and living down the street. Just shoot us strait. Fact is we all know that the FC kids have an enormous amount of talent and may well be the best 14U team in North Texas but the parents are far from the best in N TX, In fact most of you would not be welcomed back at your former teams because of you depsite your daughters talent and I know that for a fact. Why dont you do your daughters a favor and let them do their talking on the field. They dont need any help from you and you only hurt your teams rep by your antics and believe me when I tell you that your parents reputation is becoming widespread in N TX.

Thank you! Finally someone with enough stones to say what we've all been thinking. I'm so sick of all the FC parents on this board AND at the park. Of course they are the best in north Texas. Probably the best in the state. Every kid on that roster is a DI player already. We know that. We don't need all of you pretending to be someone else on a message board that you're someone else just to tell us that. I doubt that team will lose a game all season. Why do they insist on tarnishing that kind of play by posting on message boards!

I'll post my 2 cents. And before Fastpitchfever16 decides to post and say that I'm a FC parent. I would say that Glory is the better team IMO and I don't even have a DD on that team. After watching them play at the friendly earlier I would say they are a more complete team. Pitching is solid and defense has taken a huge positive step forward. But what most surprises me is that while they are known for living & dieing with small ball they have adjusted. They can hit but when its necessary to win a game they will drop a bunt. A lost art when many of these top teams are so stubborn (ego) on trying to out hit the other team. Fundamentals. But like I said just my IMO. If they are 1 then FC is 1b, or vice versa any weekend.

BUT, give FC their due credit. They finished 9th at ASA Nats, what other local top team 14U has come close to that? Its a difficult achievement considering the best of the best would love to place top 10. I find it funny that fastpitchfever16 is on a crusade to uncover who is who in Heybucket as it relates to FC. Or how you know who the players are and who they played for before not to mention who is welcome back to their old team. You sound like a coach who may be disgruntled or better yet an ex-parent. How are we to ever know? Ignore it and go work with you daughter. I do also think that alot of people will be surprised as to how well Fusion Rhine will be the season. Another well coached team with talent and can get it done. Earlier post says they placed 3rd at the preview, well done.

I think that you're infatuation with the Firecrackers teams has finally gone overboard.

For kicks though, I went ahead and reviewed my posts. I have posted on about 6 different subjects, even on one about my lovely Cowboys. I've yet to see in any one of them where I showed any preference for any team over another. You're obvious dislike for that team and its parents shows you have a deeper reason for it.

Back to the subject though, there are a lot of good teams in NTX and between Glory Keiser, Firecrackers, & Rhine, they are all pretty much equal. Glory may hold the edge because they do the little things that will get you the extra run. It'll be fun to see how the spring goes.

Good question...how did your team do fastpitchfever? Let me guess you dont have a dd that plays,my dd isnt in that age group, blah blah blah.

Great job to all the teams that played and a big shout out to the Austin Storm in their finish great job.

Don't confuse me with FC parents. I dont come on here claiming to be something I am not. Of course I have a daughter and of course she plays 14U on a North Texas team why else would I be on these boards, she has played for a few teams over the years and has many friends in the North Texas softball world as do I so I like to keep up with what is going on around the North Texas area, and No I will not reveal what team she plays on just as everyone else on this board does'nt. We did alright this weekend thanks for asking. Her team is not one that is mentioned on HB very often but we do our best to hold our own. We were not playing in the Bomber although as I have said on this board before, I would have liked to, if for no other reason than to compare our team against the best in the state to see how we stacked up. We did play this weekend and we won a few and lost a few about the same as almost every other team I suspect.

fastpitchfever16 wrote:What is this I hear about a series of "friendlies" between the "best 6 N Texas 14U Teams" I have been told that these "elite teams" are choosing not to play in tournaments and are playing in these so called friendlies in an effort to shut out some of the other teams and play "only the best competition." I am wondering how the other teams feel about this and about losing out on the chance to play the better teams and in turn get better themselves. Seems a little one sided to me and just who decided who these "elite" teams are an who is not an "elite team". I also hear the first of these "friendlies" are to take place this weekend in Garland.

I can't imagine why these teams want to play each other. Look at this 14U competition in McKinney this weekend:

99 Texas Force
99 Elite Eller
99 Elite Esparza
99 Weatherford Fastlane
99 Moore Her-icanes
99 Austin Stars
99 Texas Pride
99 NWA Knockouts
99 Texas Twist
00 Moore Her-icanes
