TPS and Sting are definately the stand outs in this division but we have known that for a couple months now. It was a hard fought game with girls from both teams getting agressive. The Sting pitcher did take a serious blow to the leg from a TPS batter but the STING pitcher also beamed a good blow to one of the TPS players at the plate.
All in all a good weekend of ball, heres to many more..............
By your comment I hope you are advocating that pitchers intentionaly hit batters. There are enough injuries without that happening!!! That should not be part of softball and I hope no one would support their pitchers in doing that.
What great all around games by both TPS and Sting! The pitcher for the sting gets my vote for the player of the weekend, how tuff was she! Took that hard shot early and came back a pitched a good game. No she did not hit a batter intentionally, that happened later in the game and a pitch just got away from her. Everyone knows the coach only throws at number 22!

I look forward to many more battles between these two teams. I wish the Sting was going to ASA.

In defense of the Kaos, it has to be very hard to try and bring a group together as basically a start up team for the spring and have such high expectations. I think people are piling on because of the smack talk earlier in the season. You can’t just walk out onto the field and think you can start pushing established teams around; it takes a lot of dedication from the kids, and more from the parents. Not winning all the time can’t be all the coaches’ fault. Congratulations to the Kingwood Edge to step up and take third, no one predicted that. They looked very sharp this past weekend.
