Ya, your right.....they're not going to blow up people in 14u..........its just that they're exciting.......I'd love to seem them play 14u. Get better like the Stix and Blaze who play up all the time. STE has it made....Blaze and 8's both will be gone before STE gets anything going. Crush might challenge ya, Groove too.......but 14u in South Texas is sooo bad......your 12u's are making noise.

Del Valle looks to be bloody war........Everyone better come loaded......because I'd hate to be on the wrong end of this tournament. I even see the Dallas and Houston area teams want nothing to do with that war!!!! I guess they had enough at the Bombers tournament. Also, its being played in Del Valle.....don't have to worry about the San Marcos/New Braunfel jokers umping!!!! Amen to that

Are you kidding me? Do you really think the Freeze Blue is Good? What a joke!!!!! They can't even beat the good 12U teams and only beat the fair teams with pick up players. As for the 14U being so weak in South/Central TX you really need get your facts straight. S.TX Elite is very good but will not have a cake walk at every tournament they play in. Don't make it sound like they have it easy. That is disrespectful to them. They have to earn their wins. As for this weekend big props to the RR Blaze 95 even though they had some Prinzo players with them they still did well. Their advantage was their pitchers were so slow many teams had trouble waiting on the pitches, but that is something the girls will have to work on an all teams. The Glory has been successful for the same reason and I hear many of the top 12U teams do better off the 93/94 pitchers than playing the 96 teams in 12U.

Some of this is pretty comical. About 8 of those 10 teams listed plus Stix(M) could end up winning. Much depends on which pitchers show up for which team and who can get a fortunate draw in the Tourney. In the end 3-4 pretty good teams will finish out of the "prizes"...and unless you watch every game...it's hard to know how and why teams finished in the order they finished. Some of the strong teams early in the year have not looked as strong lately...and many of these teams are merely combined parts of several teams. There is probably only about 3-4 Strong Centex teams that look the same every Tourney...(ie same kids in the lineup).

To suggest DFW teams are dodging this Tourney is a joke!...There is no reason for those teams to travel to Austin in late May...they have many options and many challenges in their backyard that time of year. In Feb and March is a different story when the weather can be just to dicey up there.

i talked to some of the 95 blaze coaches, and they said that the team that played in this tournament was the same one that played in the fall. so, there were no pick-up players or any Prinzo girls on the team. that was an impressive showing by a true 12u team in a strong 14u tournament.

Sorry everyone STE will be traveling to Deer Park instead of Del Valle on May 2-4, really wanted to play Blaze(Prinzo) and STX 8's and Crush, good luck to everyone in Del Valle and our apologies to the Blaze Org., but I feel we need to see different teams:

High Voltage
STE08(ALICE)
SK Tazers
Settegest RBI 14U
Texas Jets
Texas Creed
Texas Heat
Cy Fair Blaze
Lady Stros 14U
Lady Hustlers 14U (Louisiana)
95 Spring Sting
Texas Ice
Texas Cyclones

I'd stay way from Freeze Blue too!!!!!!!! Express tournament is pretty strong, even with Elite leaving.

Tazers, Voltage, Jets......didn't do so well at the Bomber's tournament. I know who I'm picking to win TPS.........Go Elite!!!! Oh, watch out for that Sting team......they salty.....like the Freeze.

Maybe the Peps will show up??? Give y'all a challenge.

There are good quality teams in Central Texas, just decided to go play in Deer Park, we love going head to head against the Bombers 94, been playing them(B-94) for 3 years and the other Centex teams and its always exciting, at the same token we like going to the Houston area and see what they have to offer also. Never seen Freeze Blue play so I can't say much and so I wish them the best of luck in '08 ! I will say this, let the girls do the talking on the field and lets(Coaches/Parents) not do so much bragging for them !

Order of finish for the 14U was:
Texas Stix - Myrick
Wildfire
RR Crush
Hurricanes

I don't know the complete order for the 18U, but I do know the 8's won the tourney with a walk off homerun.
