How did tryouts go this weekend?

by catcherdad » Thu Aug 26, 2010 9:22 pm

Did most of the 93 Storm Elite move up to an 18U Gold Storm Elite team? That team had a great run at 16U. You would think they could replicate it by staying together at 18U.

The team that disbanded was the '96 team that moved to 16u after Nats. The '93s did move up and are still together.

The 12u Storm Elite that did so well this year is moving up to 14u and are still looking strong.

Hadn't heard that, not trying to mislead anyone just posting what little I know. We were with the '96s but we had try-outs at the same complex as the new 14u team so I saw them and they looked good.

It is always an interesting and stressfull time of year as everyone re-evaluates. We are a little late for the bus this year, more stress, as we hadn't really planned on moving.

On another note, I'm full of stray thoughts today, wouldn't it be nice if eteamz had a decent search tool for its announcements? Looking for try-outs is a beast. I would love to be able to just search on A team, 16u, catcher and see who was looking.

Anyway, hope to see ya'll out there in the Fall, I'm off to get a headache going through 15 pages of announcements. (Curse all who use that goofy scrolling text!!)

Yep its true. Changed teams to go to the Elite, then found out last night one of the coaches and a few players left. Raley decide to focus on the 18u team.

If you know of a team in need of a pitcher and lead off hitter, we're looking.

Shouldn't be very hard to locate a team for you if your dd leads off and pitches..

We went to the cattle call tryouts with the Peppers and the Impact. The Impact tryout was the most competitive tryout I have ever seen with 50 qualilty players going for 16U.
