Best 12U Teams in NTX

Anyone know if 98 TPS is still together? We are having a huge 12A Invitational in Nashville and have tried contacting Jody with no luck. Thanks so much. Teams confirmed.

Here are the other teams I am still waiting on, TPS 98, 98 Frost Falcons, 98 Indy Edge and Indy Extreme 98.

Can take 2 more teams. This is 375 and no gate no trophies just 6 games agains the best from the south and midwest.

Fusion girls are coached well, and can hit. I always have liked to watch a Tony coached team play. 98 Glory Adkins-ALLen, solid as well, the games between these 98's that rep N.TX, always come down like all games mostly, how lucky are you that day, and who's going to have the ball tip out of a glove, and be the result of the game that day. 99 Glory Blue, always win a good ratio of their game in 14U, play well when theyre supposed to for the most part. BB Rhine is a tough out. Like them too.

Fusion has always just been a little bigger and tougher than the rest, even after they lost their big pitcher to Rhine, I think.

All this talk of these great 12U teams hanging in 14U is a joke. How did any of the 12U teams fare against 97 Glory and 97 Glory Adkins? Of all the teams mentioned, 2 runs were scored on these 2 teams combined all weekend. A total of 4 runs were scored on these 2 teams combined by ALL teams combined this past weekend. 12U teams are playing each other well in 14U tourneys, I'll give them that.

Time will tell. I can tell you that the 97's look down on the 98's, as your last comment confirms.
The speed of the game is so much faster with the 97's. And remember, the 97's have already played a year against the 96's, who play an even faster game.

Hey Justawatcher, is it a big shock that the 97 teams you mentioned win or placed in the past tourny against the 98's? Those are well coached and very solid 97/96 teams. But take the 98's out of that tournament in Mckinney and it proably doesn't make. I mean like I said before, its the trend for the top tier 98's to play up and play each other all while getting challenged by playing those tough older teams as well. My question is the 98's are playing up, why aren't those teams?

No not a shock at all. I was just pointing out that all of the great stuff we see out of the 98s is exactly what we will see in 12U. I would guess those teams are not playing up because the pitching distance is 43ft. after 14U but I'm just guessing. Besides where would they play the first weekend in April? You see any 16U/18U tourneys out there that we are all missing?

My granddaughter is a 98. I'm not looking down on anyone. 97s are first year 14U. Yes they played a year against 96s 2 years ago but our 98s played against 97s just last year!

97 Glory played plenty of 16U & a couple of 18U last fall.
97 Glory Turkoly played a few 16U. They both did very well.
They just played 96's last fall, not 2 years ago.
They SHOULD beat up the 98's.
If that is what it takes to become better, then bring it on.

97 Glory is not even the same team as last fall. New players, new coaches, etc. Not relevant.
I have no idea if either team is pure 97 or not.

With your argument you could say the same about 98s playing 97s AND 96s last fall too.
I thought you were talking about championship play / what their actual age group is, not playing up in some rinky dink tournaments in DFW.
