Nope we were just gonna practice but then got asked to play in a little one day 16/18 RR in Sugarland because a team backed out. Good luck to all the teams playing this weekend at the NQ...Looks to be a good one.

Magic beat Sting. Sting was leading midway through until two different throwing errors with two outs and bases loaded blew it open.

Power was beating Fusion 3-0 until a late rally tied it up. I think they were in ITB when I left.

Kaos and Cobras were 4-4 in ITB also.

Teams left in winner's bracket after this morning's games include Power, Travellers, Kruzers, GT Shockers...not sure who else. Shockers defeated Peppers in first game 3-2 and then Kaos 6-4. Shockers get Kruzers tonite.

Power defeated MC Magic 4-3. More scores later when I have them.

Winner's bracket Saturday night:
Voodoo over Hawks 3-2
Kruzers over Shockers 6-0 (when I left)
Travelers over Power 2-1 in 9 innings
Phantomz over TKO 9-0 (when I left)

Still alive in the loser bracket:
Kaos, Velocity, Glory, those listed above

Teams of note already sent home, I think this is correct:
Magic, TPS, Coastal Elite, Peppers, Fusion

Can't remember anything else.

Wow..alot of suprises in this one. There is no way I could have predicted this outcome. Congrats to the final two. Someone let us know who gets the bid, I assume it's just the winner?

Traveler's won. Velocity up 4-3 until the last inning. Kudos to both teams - Travelers for going undefeated and SK Velocity, who lost their first game Saturday morning to the Travelers, for battling back through the losers bracket to make it to the championship game.

Wow...kudos to Travellers, but fantastic job by Velocity. What a tough road to the finals. Don't know much about Velocity but they relied heavily on one pitcher that is just going into 8th grade this year (at Barbers Hill, who is STACKED with good pitching for several years). Watched a couple of games and they hit well and were generally very solid defensively, defeating several good teams including Kruzers Overall very strong field for this tourney and run relatively well.
