Stix, Blaze, Storm and I think Bombers have college coaches coaching their teams. Their dues are less and are non-profits too. If anything........they're just helping in watering down the teams in the area. To many quality kids spread out amongst 4 programs just in the Austin Area.
I guess the same question could be asked of many people in the Central Texas area including yourself.(Not bashing) I believe you are part of the Freeze organization. Why did you not go to one of the "big organizations"? It was probably just a matter of personal choice. My dd plays for the Stix and we pay $150 a month. By the time we pay our coaches, pay for tournaments, coaches hotel rooms, and their travel expenses we are cutting it very close on money at the end of every season. Give them a season and see what they put on the field. If the teams are a joke or you see all the coaches start driving new Hummers then come on here and let them have it. Lets atleast let them past try-outs before we tie them to a stake.
Just my 2 cents worth
