The Fusion-Peppers game drew a very large crowd, Don't know when I have seen a crowd this large at a softball tournament. Head coaches from a lot of different teams was there to watch these two awesome teams. The game did live up to all the hype. Fusion pulled it out in the 7th inning. The Peppers do have a very good team. I feel sorry for the losers bracket with them in it. Good luck to all.

I want to know where all these people are that was predicting TT Splash, Anderson Express, Glory Elliot to go far in this tournament. It's funny to read these postings. Did any team suprise anyone? I know the Shadows suprised me. What about TT Splash, no hit by Fusion (Mendez). Who was that kid pitching for Fusion Mendez? 94 Glory beating American Freedom... I'm suprised no one has come back on this site and said, "I guess I was wrong". Congrats to Fusion Sidwell, well deserved on winning it all!!

Here is another upset, Fusion (Mendez) sent the 94 Glory home after the Glory sent Freedom home. What,s up with that.

Shadows definately surprised me.....I posted earlier before the tourney that I thought some might overlook us newbies, and I think that happened.....Fusion(mendez) was the last true 94 team standing.....in the 94 Glory game, they had some pitching issues and fusion capitalized. Overall, I saw some great competition and I too thought that the Fusion(Sidwell) vs. Peppers game Friday night was a great atmoshpere, great game, and was great for softball in Texas. I think that North Texas represented our area well, and see that there is a lot of great players in the State of Texas.

By the Way.....I didn't put down Fusion(mendez) as a surprising team, because I thought we would be very competitive......very happy with a top 8 finish and want to say to our sister team....WAY TO GO Fusion(Sidwell).

I don't know who she is but she was also great against Shadows when she was brought in in relief in the first inning!! Too bad they (Fusion - Mendez) spotted Shadows 4 runs before she came in...could have been interesting!!!

Fusion(mendez) was the last true 94 team standing.....

The '94 Peppers are a true "94" in my opinion.

The entire roster - with the exception of 4 players - are all 94's.

One of our Pictchers is a 7th grader - as is one of our 2B.... (both could still be in 12U).

We do have two girls that are 93's (both December B-days) - so if you are saying Fusion (Mendez) does not have any 93's - I see your point.
