Great pitching coaches?

I agree that for him it is all about the money but unfortunately that is the way it is with a lot of pitching coaches...

However, Eddie is quite strange and full of himself. And as far as coaching a couple of Olympians I don't believe that is accurate. Cat went to Tim Timmons then Bobby Smith.

Eddie is strange and full of himself but he is the real deal. Has his own place with six pitching lanes, air conditioned... All his own.. He doesn't have to rent space out and he doesn't charge $40 a pop for a 30 minute lesson. He is a business man trying to make a living. That is his only job.. He is in it for the girls, I do know that. This thread is Great Pitching Coaches and Eddie will go down as one of them from around this area.

Wait until #27 & #10 get into high school, which won't be for another year as they are just now going into the 8th grade.

Annie Castle, she is in the Humble area. She has been my dd's pitching coach since she was 9 years old. She charges $10.00 for group leasons or $30.00 for private (1hour). She is in it for the girls and the love of the game. She is the best and has also worked with Tim Timmons.

Would'nt go to Eddie even if mankind was coming to an end. He is all about the money and would stick your DD in a group lesson where she could learn more from a little league coach. He is a a real piece of %£{*. Save your money, try Anybody else with a pulse for results.

I have not found anybody else that gives my dd what he gives her, and believe me, I have looked. It is a business for him and he has to make a living and part of making a living is making money. I do not think it is all about the money for him. That is just my opinion though, just like you have yours.

We have been to both Tim Timmons and Eddie Martwick. My daughter goes to Eddie Martwick and has been under him for right at a year now. We choose Eddie over Tim because of location. They are both very good and teach the same. YES Eddie is very confident as he should be the man know his stuff about softball pitching. When it comes to pitchers, confidence is a very large key to success so i feel Eddie leads by example. Eddie does care about his kids, when my daughter was injured he called and checked on her, when we are playing in his area he is there to watch, or he will call and see how things are going when we are not in his area. Eddie does have some qualities that some people may not like but don't we all? Also Eddie's studio is his job $35 for and hour group lesson is a fair price.
My daughter will continue to go to Eddie until the end.

I have been keeping up with this thing for a while and nobody has mentioned the one coach in the area who I think has the most notable studants. (past and present)That person would be Ken Hazelwood. I think he does a very good job! Some of the best around go to him at this time.

Tell me more about Mr. Hazelwood. Where does he work out of ? Does he have a web site and/or contact numbers. How long has he been teaching ? What pitches does he excel in teaching ?

The reason I'm asking is I am looking for a pitching coach.
