reason #1: "daddy" coach gets tired of putting in all the thankless hours only to be constantly second guessed by whiny, complaining sports-goggle-waearing parents who think their own kids are the 2nd coming of Lisa Fernandez, headed to a full ride D-1 college of her choice.
"daddy" coach decides it's not worth it and quits.
sideline parents now have no coach....and are no longer an "A" ball team...

I guess you coach a team that plays alot of daddy ball.

I seem to recall a certain daddy-ball kid pitching a 2-hit, 13k gem against the mighty Travelers a few weeks back. Or maybe I'm misremembering...

That very well could have happen I dont know.If that happened congratulations to that pitcher. What traveler team?

During warmups, that dreadful "dinging" sound of the $19.95 aluminum bat is ringing loud and clear around the field.

No stalking...just an identifier. Since we live in B-Town where the Red Hots practice there would be plenty of opportunity for a tryout if we, or the Red Hots were interested.

Really?! I think B team means you have a best pitcher and you work the poor kid into the ground.

A teams have 3-4 solid pitchers/catchers you can rotate. JMHO

Live in the only state where B travel actually exists.
To each their own.

The parents drive SUVs to tournaments with the windows all lettered up with "GO XXXs" and their kid's first name and number. The real ambitious ones draw softballs too but only the best players on the team have actually earned that right.
10 years from now I'll wish I felt like I do these days.

Hey Redhots coach,

It looks like somebody wants to come to your tryouts. I thought your tryouts were open to everybody.

Task Master:

Who do you see that looks like they want a tryout with the Red Hots? I must have missed that.

#1 in my book:

Parent/parents who think they're "A" ball parents spending most their time on Heybucket making fun of other parents and teams out there in the softball world....maybe they should look in the mirror.

Pretty "B"ush league IMO
