Impactdad you hit the nail on the head with this guy! He's only about the money and he is a piece of $#@*!

WoW!!! I'm really surprise you guys would bash a man & his livelyhood on a public forum. And, then to do it hiding behind a screen name. I hope no one ever does this to you at your job. You know what they say about karma!

Joel Hall, no hiding here chief! :) If I ran my business like he does, when I dealt with him, I would expect it.

Thanks,

OK Joel Hall, why don't you explain what happened when you dealt with him instead of just out and out bashing him. There are two sides to every story. Just sayin??

Chief

There's my side (right) ;) , there's his side (wrong) and you have a side (bias) ;) ! Which is on his side! So "CHIEF" when you get home stay home! :o

Joel, I know you had a situation with Eddie and it is understandable that you would never go there again and will not ever recommend him to anybody, but to give him the shots you have given him is not fair to him. Everybody has their own opinion too and we all know what your opinion is, but he obviously has some good qualities or he would not still be in business. Business being the key word here and he has rules that he goes by too and when people do not adhere to his rules, he most all times invokes the result of not adhering to the rule. He also charges one week in advance and that is to make sure people show up at their next scheduled practice time. If he did not do that and people cancelled on him, he would be hung without making any money for that scheduled time slot, that could have been filled if the person had call to cancel in enough time for him to fill the hole.

I am not trying to start anything with you as we are friends and hopefully will continue to be. Just trying to take up for somebody that I consider a friend too. Eddie is not for everybody, no doubt about that. I agree 100%, but that doesn't mean he should be bashed on here.

Just my two cents worth, which normally is not worth a hill of beans..

Mark

PS: I am glad I now know who 6th Sense is

Not one person recommended Bobby Smith. If I were a pitcher, was self motivated, have the ability to implement what is being taught, and wanted to learn or maximize movement, I would go to Bobby Smith.

Bobby has a slew of girls that went on to play in college. He is cheap, much cheaper than all the other instructors mentioned. He has group lessons for $25 and private for $50, I think thats right, wife pays. Folks, just cause you pay less doesn't mean you get less...

I don't know how old Bobby is, but he still pitches competively in 50 or 60 over leagues. He has been pitching forever....

My DD has been going to Bobby for 4 years now and I am extremely please with her results.

Here is a link to his web site. Cruse around in it and you will come across a page with former students that went on the pitch in college.

Mark,

I understand your situation, but the fact is running a business is obviously not one of his good qualities.

Facts: Hurricane hits, I'm having to deal with two houses and I called 48hrs prior to let him know
(had to leave a message) we couldn't make it to our lesson. I did not get a return call! My daughter and I show up the following week for her lesson, he cancelled it on the spot. Mind you that we drive from Pearland to his place, he could of atleast called and cancelled to save us a trip. Since I gave him the courtesy of a 48 hr notice the wek before. I'm just getting my $30 worth! :D

That's how the cookie crumbles!
