The Top teams in Texas will be at this tournament. Take a...

You definately CANNOT judge a team by one tournament. Sometimes, you wake up and it just isn't your day. We (Game Time) had one of those days on Saturday. However, I will say we have beaten the the team that got 2nd all 3 times we've played them and the team that got 3rd we've beat 4 of the 6 times we've played them. We played Crossfire on Saturday. I will give it up to them they are a tough little bunch, and they bunt extremely well and will do it anywhere in the count. Twice they bunted on us with 2 strikes. After playing them and the Sweet Gold, I do think they are probably a step behind the Gold but are still a team that could make some noise if they got hot for a week in July. All in all, I thought it was a great tournament and Really Really look forward to seeing some of those teams again.

You definately cannot judge a team by one weekend, you look at them in their entirety. Do they have depth at pitching, do they hit well, do they play sound defense. Every team has a bad weekend, but numerous bad weekends may lead one to believe that a.) your not that good or b.) you have a rash of injuries (which means once you are healthy again you may be behind teams that have stayed relatively healthy).

Our experience in softball this year started out great, where did it go wrong?

Interacting with other softball parents who have clearly lost sight of what this year should be about. These parents are living through their daughters and must have trouble finding friends to hang out with on the weekend.
I just found out about this website though crazy softball parents who have nothing better to do than gossip about other teams and players. Which is very rude! Maybe more of these parents should be going to church on Sunday instead of playing ball or talking trash on this website.
I have not seen one player out there who can get a college scholarship at age 10, so what does it matter what each team is doing right now? I have not seen one college scout at any tournament and I am sure that there won't be one at nationals either.
I also can't believe how much team jumping there has been this year. I have a suggestion for all you parents, why don't we as parents focus on teaching our dauthers how to be loyal to a team, and be a good teammate, instead of teaching our daughters to jump ship when things don't go the way the parents want.
Teaching your daugther to be loyal is a much better life lesson than teaching them that she is the best player and / or on the best team at age 10. I promise your daughter will get more out of being loyal in 10U than she will out of being told she is the best or her team is the best.

I want to thank all you crazy gossiping softball parents, because of you my daughter doesn't even want to play next year and that is sad because she is a good softball player and is on a good team. Keep doing what you are doing and see where it gets you and your daughters in life.

Crossfire has too many holes right now defensively and can't keep the ball of the fence...All teams aspiring to play in Indiana best show signs of life right now...every tournament that your team is playing (May, June, July) is in preparation for the state qualifiers (May) to be accepted to "the big one".

I ask, when do the games start to matter? If the answer is mid June or July, you'll be at home watching your house cleaner, kicking the dog, and swimming in the pool.

Play the best to become the best and your team will rise or fold.

Just keepin it real. :D

Did anyone else notice that iceicebaby just switched back to iceberg. Talk about hypocritical. Make up your mind which personality you want to play with.
