We have a clarification and let me direct this to Battle and an apology to the TNT and Coach Grey for allowing them to be drawn into this mish mash.

I did not realize that TNT and TNT North Texas were not the same team.
I went back and checked it out on VTD.
So TNT was not in the tournament in McKinney on Dec 11.
When I stated that TNT got beat by Fusion I was referring to the team that played in McKinney on Dec 11, TNT North Texas.
They did get beat by Fusion who ultimately fell to the Donkeys.

OK?

In regards to you comment about being a Coach, I think my point about not being one was quite profound. There are not many “real” coaches handling select teams. Sure there are a lot of guys who are called coach but not that make a living at it. At best it is an honorary title that people call one another because they don’t know their names!
I am sure we all know a few who are good at it and others not so good. I know I have heard enough muffled comments from parents and players about being on a team with a poor coach that they exist.

Plus as far as communicating I may not be a great prose like Battle but I don’t lower myself to name calling or making accusations against a person’s profession.

Lol...I was just bustin' your chops a little. I would have never thought that you had such thin skin. I can see you coming on here and drumming up bussiness for your tourny with all the ranting and raving you do but to post the scores afterwards the way you do is a bit much. You have to admit that you did bring it on yourself. I do understand what you are doing with the donkeys and I think it IS a good thing. I'll stop ragging on you this time for fear of hurting your feelings again.

Have a good day and HEE HAW! :D

LMAO....I've watched the donkeys and I've watched TNT and TNT would have killed yall and it wouldn't have even been a close game so back up the conceited train there coach. IMO you couldn't carry TNT's head coach (Grey) clip board in for him, much less coach your team to a championship against them.

Still LMAO!

He's right, TNT is pretty good. They are a long way from Bob's ET Longhorns though. I don't know who is better-dont really care. Both teams would need to do something before talking how ya'll are right now. Battle, U-trip don't count. JoeRussell, neither does a winter craigs ranch tournament.

Huh :?: I don't know what U-trip has to do with anything here but I do agree with you on the winter tournys. Nothing really counts anytime except ASA A nationals. Right?

Funny thing is NONE of the teams mentioned could hold their own in SO CAL !

It's like watching midgets argue over who is the better basketball player

Every once in awhile, I enjoy one of your posts. This is one of those rare occasions. Too funny!

Don't really have an opinion one way or the other on the Donkeys because they are not on my radar screen. But I do have a couple of observations. If you truly do not have any "regular" players, and your team is nothing but a bunch of "pick ups" or an all-star select team, how in the world are you able to compete in tournaments?? Trust me, I am not a rules aficionado, but isn't there some type of limit to the number of "temporary" players a team can have on its tournament roster? Oh wait, I forgot, we are probably talking about VTD tournaments so it really doesn't matter anyway. Again, don't really care one way or the other, just curious.

I look forward to seeing you guys at the HOF qualifier and ASA national qualifier. Would love to get a pic with the donkey.

They don't play very many tournaments, especially the big tournaments because the players are already committed to permanent teams and already playing, so the Donkeys seem to play in only tournaments where a majority of the best teams are not playing so that they can use the key players from other teams. I have yet to see the Donkey's but who wouldn't be good if only had the better players from several teams.

OK I am back and will once again try to set the record straight with all of the blood and guts softball experts on Heybucket.

First off: Battle yes I have a thin skin when it comes to these Donkeys. Plus posting the scores, so what?
They are on VTD for everyone to see anyway. If we dont keep score, why play?
Anyway, I am glad you seem to understand a little about what we try to do and hopefully see the good in it. We are cool!

Man Talljie aunt: Your right you will never see the Donkeys on your screen because we are not looking to accomplish what you want to do at the ASA or HOF etc etc. Be glad to send you a picture of one of our donkeys anyway! LOL Plus good luck to you enroute to that goal!

TexasSoftball: Our players come from far and wide! Some are all stars and some not so. Some have a room full of trophys, some have had none!
Let me testify to this, that when you have a ball player that is marginal and she has never won a trophy with her home team and she now has the opportunity to shine.
Well there is just no feeling like it in the world, hell better than Christmas! LOL
In some cases these marginal players even seem to turn on the juice and perform above and beyond thier normal capacity! This is what the heart and soul of the Donkeys is really all about! This past weekend the Donkey Gold team was successful in putting together a very good team. Our sister team "Donkey-Wieser" was put together the same way and they finished 3rd. Of all the Donkey teams to play only 1 girl has played in every game in all four of the tournamnets, this year. I wont go into listing teams and names of players who have been lucky enough to play
on a Donkey team. If you see us out kicking up the dirt, stop on by the Donkey Corral we are always looking for another convert!
Merry Xmas to all and Hee Haw!

Another funny thing is...Everytime I read a post of yours, it's like watching an old man midget turning around, bending over with his pants down and showing his ass. Just sayin'.
