Were there any games played at the Gold Cup this year? Or did the Aces just name themselves winners of all age categories!

Yep, there were 73 games played total and the Aces Express came out on top in all three divisions. Instead of trying to run those ladies in the ground, why don't you congratulate them?

Yes sir, and you too.

It was an interesting weekend and some really good softball.

Maybe next year, some of the other Gold teams will play instead of acting like their sheet don't stink and are way above that kind of tournament in the fall.

Obviously, that morning coffee is still working!!

I thought it was a great tournament, but the most impressive thing was the cameras at Imperial Park. They are on only 3 fields but it gave family members an opportunity to watch games that could not make it out to the park. I hope all fields at Imperial get them installed as well as other parks.

In all honesty, I don't keep up with that department but I did see Texas A&M (gig em!!) and U of H out there. I will get with our recruiter and let you know.

I honestly didn't notice that with the blue but I am wondering how many 2016s were on that 16U aces express team, they were some pretty big girls compared to their opponents.
