The Crazy 8's are the non HS playing Hawks and Peppers welded together into 1 big squad. I saw them 3 weeks ago split into 2 squads and playing either one was like having your choice of being hung or having your throat cut.

Whomever takes them on will have a game on their hands.

I thought that was the CHILIBIRDS???????????
Hey LooneyToon Why only one Sk team? I thought there were 2 14u teams!!

Call me CRAZY on this one but I am going against the odds and saying BB will not bring home the hardware.

Am I correct in saying that there are 2 Crazy 8's teams. 1 from DFW, 1 from Houston?

Also, curious, how do they compare to The Tx. Travelers and the AL Kruzers?

Whats up with the 8's teams, last season the Bombers had a South Texas 8's that were pretty dominate in the 14u in CenTex..

I know some of the "8's teams" are called "8's" because they are a combo team of 8th graders that just play together during HS season.
Yes, there apparently is a DFW Crazy 8's and a Houston Crazy 8's. I've seen a Houston Crazy 8's team play already and I can't imagine they are a combo team from Peppers and Hawks, they're calling themselves the chilibirds from what i've been told BUT I think they created two teams from those groups.
My daughter is perfect, she knows everything. Just ask her.

The only thing they have to go on is the VTD and that team is listed as a "B" team on that site. Most "B" teams can't compete very well in a tournament with "A" teams, so that is why nobody is giving them a second thought. If they are indeed a good team, maybe they should be categorized in accordingly.

Ok so know one has seen them play, but I did last summer in Cen-Tex and man could they smash the ball, I think they run-ruled alot of teams during their time here so I am basing my prediciton on that experience alone. IF it is the same team of course which I would assume it is since they are traveling so far for the Bomber..

One SK team plays a lot more tournaments than the other one does. They must be pacing themselves :D
