Houston Area HS Softball 2014

I got to watch some good softball this past weekend in Bryan/College Station. I was impressed with several teams on there play and wish everyone a enjoyable and healthy season of Highschool softball. Probably the two best games I saw were the Atoscacita/Deer Park and Atoscacita/Braoswood games. I guess this was the case because I knew almost every kid on the field during these games. I was very impressed with Bellaire, Manvel (Franks will keep this team in a game),Hebron, Magnolia and Kingwood. Good luck to everyone this year and stay healthy for this Summer!!!

Had to work. Heard bits and pieces about the tournament in Pearland this week-end. What were the results and how did the teams stack up??

There is a way to appeal the process to UIL and if you go hard enough, you will probably win.

Paige McDuffee most definitely DID NOT go through this. She moved due to father's job being in Houston and them living in Dallas.

Hearing finally set for March 19th in Austin.. Wish my two dd's luck!!

Spring Break is over finally. Time to get back to softball.
The Top 5, 5A schools in the state
1) Atascocita - 14-0 (2) Cinco Ranch - 14-1 (3) Richardson Pierce - 14-1 (4) Brazoswood - 19-2 (5) Woodlands - 20-2
I have seen all of them play except Richardson Pierce and they are solid teams with anyone of them capable of winning the State Crown.
The Houston area is again loaded with talented teams and Region 3 is well represented.
Should be a Great playoff year once the District races are done with.

Well I hope in a couple of hours the Show family will get resolution in Austin. If so East Benard will move up in the standings in Softball and Volleyball with these 2 girls becoming eligible.
