anybody have any results from this RR???

I'll start it off from what I heard:

Storm Elite 0-2-1 One of the losses to the Heat
FBT Lost to Sting Blue
Lost to Coastal Elite
Beat Xtreme
Coastal Elite Beat CF Shock
Beat FBT
Beat Sting Blue
Aces lost to Sting blue

You are right about Storm Elite and its all on the Coach! WTH?
I don't know about all games but did hear from a credible source FBT beat Sting Blue 3-2 :?
I saw Aces lose to Sting Blue and the Ace parents were grumbling, sounds like coach better make them a new bracelet or something

Zig,

I'm very curious about the statement about the storm elite coach. What did she do or not do in this case?? Is there already problems there?? I have been trying to see how this team will develop since their try out... Interesting as to what will happen if it doesnt work out..

I dont know which is which either!!!! Maybe monkeysmom can help us figure it out. Which one is the 96 team and which one is the 95 team??

There is no 95 or 96 team. There are simply two teams that are a blend of 95 and 96 players.

Heard the 97 Storm Elite beat them this weekend in Sugarland. Not sure if that means White is not as good as Blue or the 12U Storm just played well, or if the White just had a bad day.

There is no strong '96 that can hang that I have seen. The Power and Aces are underwhelming. Alot of hype and little substance. The Sting Blue, maybe, if their pitching doesn't get lit up. I think it will.

I'd take the RedHots over most all the '96's I've seen.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

So, why do you think the Sting's pitching will get lit up? The three girls they pitched this weekend seem to throw pretty good and didn't get hit hard by good teams. I could say the same about the Aces, FBT, and CE. These are four solid teams. I'd go with one of these.
The red hots may be the best 12u, but they can't hang with these good 14u teams.

what percentage of teams in the 14u bracket will be from out of state? I'm a curious coach from Florida.

Jus sayin the Elite parents are payin out the wazoo and expect to be competitive with the best teams instead of being beat by below average teams. Several parents are talking and there not happy. Coach is probly thinking upgrade b4 spring, parents are thinking hop after RM.

The only saving grace for this team is a big showing at RM.

My prediction: Coach cuts 3 after Fall and 2 more walk. Tryouts will not be what they were last Summer. The team will continue to be average/above average, but not an ELITE team.
