thanks Impactdad, that must have been a pretty good round robin.

This came from another forum:

In the Baytown 14U Saturday, the Texas Red Hots tied the first game against Texas Stampede and won the rest of the RR games. The two teams with the best records met in a final game won by the Texas Red Hots.

The Red Hots also played in the Baytown 12U on Sunday. I am assuming they won all the games...all I can speak for is the game against the Texas Ice. Our record in the RR was as follows:

Ice 97 over Sudden Impact 97
Texas Red Hots Over Ice 97
Ice 97 over TPS 97
Ice 97 over Texas Heat 97
Ice 97 over Texas Thunder 97

The Ice 97 vs. Texas Red Hots was tied 0-0 until the last inning.

It was pretty good. Got to see that nobody is going to be able to run away with it this season. Talent looks to be fairly evenly matched.

vanillaice: the RR in Baytown was a very good tournament for everyone to come and get back in the swing of things. we faced some very good competition all weekend. here are our scores, hope this helps with your question.

Redhots 0 vs. Stampede 0 (TIE)
Redhots 8 vs. OOC 0 (win)
Redhots 5 vs. Tx. Terror 0 (win)
Redhots 3 vs. Tx. Terror 0 (win)

12U Round Robin (Sunday)
Redhots 6 vs. TPS '97 1 (win)
Redhots 3 vs. Ice '97 1 (win)
Redhots 2 vs. TX Thunder 0 (win)
Redhots 2 vs. Sudden Imact '97 1 (win)

i may be off by a run or so somewhere, but i think the scores are pretty accurate, but as you can see there was some good competition throughout the weekend.

redhotcoach, thanks for the update. it looks like your girls really pitched well only giving up 3 runs in 8 games. it also looks like ice '97 did well only losing 1 of their games, should be some great games this fall.

Those scores indicate that the 12's might have given the Red Hots some better games than the 14's did.

There's nothing Sleeper about the Impact '97 they are a well coached team with great athletes and a top notch coaching staff.

Top Notch coaching...            Who are 16u Nitro? Was this a select team or fall ball team ?! Let be honest, daddy ball is not top notch coaching!

Maybe I misquoted the wrong Impact team I had forgotten there are 2.

My comments are towards the 97 Sudden Impact.. The head coach is 1.) A Women 2.) A Former college player and Coach 3.) Does not have a daughter on the team

Nice first post by the way :?

Now that clears everything up....Thanks
