I herd teams were a bit rusty but played thought it and looked better toward the end of the day Sat. 98 TPS I think went undefeated for the day but I think they have played a bit more then the rest of the field this fall. Will be interesting fall when everyone has a few tournaments under there cleats. I herd there has been some interesting changes on some of the 98 teams... seems that everyone has grown and gotten better. Just need to jell as a team and get more time in the dirt. ;)

The Panthers 98 looked good on Saturday. They have a strong lead pitcher and looks like they picked up a catcher. The Stros and Rage were struggling a bit.

Didn't make it by all the games or Sunday.

I herd the Panthers looked good as well. I wonder if they will travel a bit more this year ?

I wish we could get a full report on all the teams that were there Sat. I had to miss this one and the bucket is quit this week. I know it was most teams first outing but enough to speculate for the bucket heads that were there. ;)

With all the '98s calling out the '97s on this board.....well have there been any '98 vs '97 upsets yet this fall?

I too am curious as to what some of the outcomes were this weekend???? Where is everyone after two weeks of games going on....

TPS 98 played on Sunday with the rest of the 97's. They beat TX Lightning and TPS 97 but lost to the 97 Panthers, you were asking for upsets by the 98's. Not sure if you would consider the 98 TPS's wins upsets or not but that is how it all unfolded for the younger team on Sunday.
The rest of the 97's were back and forth with each other some winning games they probably shouldn't have but it was just a RR and there was a drop dead time limit on the games..........

It is still hard to say where everyone is at. There are a lot of teams that have only played 1 tournament thus far. Many of these teams have a lot of new faces so it will take some time to get a true gauge of where they may be.Several teams are playing 14u and have not played in this age group.
Just saying it is still early, teams are making progress. Late Oct should give everyone enough time to see where they may be.
Hammer has got to be dying right about now since #1 has not played a game in 2 months. We will see her in Beaumont this weekend.

Kelpro, you talk like you know me ?   ! #1 is ready to start testing her skills at the 12u level. She has a couple different looks to show this year... cant wait to see how it works out for her. She is really ready to hit the field and get with her team. Need some game time to sharpen up for the spring. 8-)
