Don't knock the 95 teams...95 Glory and 95 Travelers are doing very well this year against the 14U teams.
And to answer your question.... Batbusters looked better this week but during the Travelers game, the Batbusters pitcher was walking alot of batters.The Batbusters were hitting the ball hard but just right to the defense who sucked up everything in sight.

Not knocking anyone.I thought the batbusters were starting to play better and start playing like they did last year when they were one of the better teams around.Good luck to the Travelers and Glory

Congratulations to Fusion Sidwell,Glory Elliott, and Travelers for placing.I am for one glad some North Texas teams stepped up to the plate.

Wizard, I agree it is about time the out of state team went home early. Livewires are a solid team. I know they will be back.

Congrats, to Glory (Elliott) on being the team to step up to the plate. You made N. Texas proud.
I really watched this team this weekend and it definitely is not the same team as last year. They seemed to have lost thier edge for some reason. Solid defense with a awesome SS, a strong #1 pitcher watched her in 3 games today, and seemed to get stronger each game. Did not watch the Travelers game, don't know if she pitched. Hitting seems to be a problem, they hit well against the Rage team, but really struggled at the plate against Glory (Elliott). Needs to be consistent.
From what I saw this weekend top 3 14U teams (playing now) who could win any tournament would be.
Fusion (Sidwell)- good pitching (21 is a workhorse), timely hitting, very fast team let them get on first and thier speed will make you make a mistake
94 Glory (Elliott)- pitchers get the job done, good defense, consistent at the plate
94 Glory-good pitching, maybe the best all around defense, good team speed, can hurt you at the plate with short game, and some powerful hitters
95 Travelers you coaches and players should be really proud you have proven that you can play week after week with some of the best 14U teams around. I enjoyed watching your team never give up and almost come back and upset the Fusion (Sidwell). Great job.

Congrats to the north texas teams Fusion (Sidwell),glory (Elliott) 95 Travelers,for protecting our backyard. I watched some of the games this weekend the competion was very good with some very tight games. Southlakes format was fair to all and in the end all the good teams were still in the hunt, good job Southlake
