Are these 2 out 3? Is every round like that?
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

The coaches choose whether to play 2 out of 3 or 1 game. If the coaches can't agree, then they flip a coin. It's this way until the State Tournament

I'm just getting past my daughters first year in HS ball, so I'm not sure but it seems to me that a team that hit 51 HR's during the regular season has a pretty good offense.

I don't know if The Woodlands is over rated, but I sure hope so :D

The competition starts to get real now

Tomball is breaking homerun records. They had 51 homeruns in regular season.

Against Atascocita in play-offs, they played 2 games for their best of 3 series and in 2 games had 8 additional homeruns.

News article about the homeruns:

Hope they keep it up!!

Saw Bowie early in a tourney. They rotated three pitchers. I think they beat Tomball earlier in the year. They could go deep in playoffs if the bats stay hot and they pitch the right pitcher. It is a one game playoff in the Bryan College Station area.

Woodlands coaches and players are so preoccupied with looking at their records and college signings they are ripe for an upset.

I think the Lady Spartans will take care of Huntsville.

It was just a guess on my part. When I went to Stratford, we didn't have softball. I just wanted to stir the pot like the HB regulars. Gotta cheer for my Alma mater.

Tomball rallies from a 5 run down to beat Austin-Bowie 6-5 in extra innings.

I knew the bats were there all season long, but I didn't know about the pitching depth that Tomball has shown.

Way to go, Ladies :P
