Next tournament up for the Mighty Adkins bunch "Bats Balls Bunnies" in Mesquite. Funny way how these Adkins coaches prepare for Nationals. Well I guess its about the blue ribbons.. OBOY

The team playing in the Mesquite tournament is our 14-U team. However, the 16-U team that played in McKinney did so by using the younger players that are 14-U elgible. We'll move them up to 18-U as soon as the tournaments start making so they can play some older teams.

All you glory folks, don't worry about these folks, jealousy has a way of clouding reason. BTW, if ya'll want to play in mesquite with age eligible players(to give them some playing time, instead of getting rusty waiting for HS to end)...GO FOR IT! And I for one would love to get to go on a damn easter egg hunt....especially the marshmello creme eggs. Ya'll can jump on me if you want, but rest assured, I am not a glory parent! Those who know me, know that. So to the haters out there, I say GO SUCK AN EGG.....in honor of the season, make it an easter egg!

The team playing in the Mesquite tournament is our 14-U team.

Perhaps this misconception of who was playing the Mesquite tourny is partly my fault. We, the 14U team, were looking for some work on Saturday. We normally practice in Mesquite but they are running a tourny so thats out. Princeton is another location in which we work out, but they have community activities on Saturday. We looked at friendlies, indoor cages, scrimmages, etc to no avail. We, the 14U team, figured perhaps we could get into the Mesquite tourny for some work. The Mesquite TD had already cut off sign ups but told me HE would go on to VTD and add us himself to this list in case one of the other teams dropped out. The TD MISTAKENLY listed the 16U team instead of 14U. When I noticed this last night, I immediately called him and he switched the teams. Not real sure why I feel I need to explain this but there you go.

MHO, we are still looking for work on Saturday, perhaps you can bring your squad out somewhere for a few hours for some work with us?? I'll bring the easter eggs for afterwards.

Sunday is no good this week though. I, and several others on the team, will be in church on Easter Sunday with our families. Perhaps the message will be about not falsely accusing someone of something without really knowing the truth.
