After this weekend 3-6-2010, all the tournaments hosted by Larry Weast, Terry Kisselburg or Ronnie Boiles at Veterans Park will have temporary fences at 205 feet. This has always been a concern for teams that have played at Veterans Park in the past. Too many infield home runs. This will all change after this weekend. We will have the temporary fences up at every tournament from this point forward. We will have brand new temporary fences around the first of June 2010. Until then we will use the temporary fences the park has already. We are working to make Veterans Park more friendly to the needs of girls fast-pitch softball in North Texas. We look forward to providing the best playing experience for teams in this area that we possibly can.
