Looks like a good call Hot Box...I agree but would move TPS 98 down a couple and Power up a couple. They have been hitting very well of late. Just one question??? All that hate over the years for RG and the Rattlers but now you are givin' them love??? Whats up with that???

I give RG a hard time but I also give them the respect they deserve. I don't always agree with his coaching but he gets the job done. Right now they are ranked up there until proven otherwise.

I must say the dark horse this past weekend was the Hawks and TPS98. Hats off to both of these teams for playing some solid ball. On another note, Congrats to RH's AGAIN for taking home the gold.

My Opinion..............

LadyStro's - still playing like a 10u team / change up your routine there's talent there
High Voltage - solid batting and pitching but need field work / tuff team
TxS98-doesn't look like the same team / volatile-but can take you down when least expected
Houston Power - in all area's / will be solid next year
Heat97 - big team but need field work / can pound the ball
Stars97 - need more exposure to show weaknesses / ?
Gems - average at best
TxS97 - Good team but always seem to have pickup players so are they really good?
Katy Crusiers - not much different than last season
Rattlers - Strong bats but weak pitching but seem to manage.
Red Hots - Great team but need to be more consistent
TPS98 - Dark Horse showing improvement every Tourney
Hawks - Impressed but was it a FLUKE
SpringSting98 - Little team but are improving
Team Mizuno - average but are improving / not ready to run with the BIG DOG's yet.
SuddenImpact - Look Great we'll see if they can hold it together

Hot Box - I believe your analyst on the teams are pretty good. I believe the most important factor will be the consistency of the top teams. Red hots have been up and down. Same with the rattlers and now all of a sudden the hawks and stars come into the picture. No 1 or 2 teams have shown that week end and week out that they are the top dog. Maybe the Red Hots tournment coming up will show us a trend.

Gems have beat both TX Sting McKinney(98) and TPS98 yet they are an average at best team.
They deserve a little more love than that. Team has good defense, once their bats wake up they will be a true contender. :!:

Not to rain on your parade but if every teams bats would wake up then they all would be contenders :D . It's obvious that your DD plays for the Gems. I'm sorry I just can't give you anymore credit until you place in a Tourney with the Top teams playing. TPS98 is a first year team as well as the TxSting10,11,12's so in reality you should beat them. Knock off the RedHots,Rattler's or Heat97 then maybe i'll show so love. Until then PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
