I have been looking at summer camps that my DD might want to go to, and a lot of the best ones at Universities (A&M) are held during the week of Houston ASA 14U Metro State. Anybody know why they do it this way? Seems if a Regionals can be done in a weekend, so could a Metro.

The last few years it has only been a weekend tourney.

I think all the Metros schedule it the whole week just in case they need it for whatever reason.
They are almost always just on the weekend though.
I know Dallas and Fort Worth's have shown the whole week but only played on the weekends the last several years.

The earliest i have every seen them start is on Thursday to get All the pool games in.
