If your team didn't qualify for Nationals but was still offered a spot would you accept the bid?

No. I think the team should earn it.

Some at large bids are given out because of (1) last year's performance at nationals and a core of the same players, or (2) a very strong finish at the qualifier just falling short. When that happens, it is based on team performance. But if you get the bid because you know the ASA Commissioner, that is unearned and will eventually be the downfall of the ASA. I hear there are not many ASA at large bids out there this year.

Any links to a list of teams that have qualified?

Last year's Sioux Falls Nationals results

17th - Texas Storm DeMarini
25th - Texas Blaze Prinzo
49th - Texas Storm Elite
49th - Texas Glory Naudin
49th - Texas Bomber Black
65th - Texas Glory Foutch
65th - Austin Stars
65th - Texas Travellers
65th - Texas Fusion
65th - Hit Away Thompson
97th - Houston Power
97th - Glory Adkins

How many of these teams will make it back?

Why not just get points like the other softball organizations. If you qualify you qualify, if you do not, you don't go.

Don't really know about any at-large bids given out yet, but do remember at opening ceremonies at 16 U Nats in Sioux Falls, SD them making an announcement that it was the first time EVER that all the teams in the tournament had gotten their bids from qualifying! Seems to me that implies that at-large bids have been given for a long time and it hasn't been the end of the world!
