Confused about 12U southlake

by dueceduece » Mon Jun 21, 2010 3:47 pm

Just wondering. I was looking to see how some teams did this past weekend.
I noticed that 97 Batbusters Spuria won 2nd place in Southlake. But I also know they were playing Metro at Gateway. Mizuno 98 was in Gateway as well but listed as playing in Southlake.

Please tell me your secret on playing in two tournaments at the same time. I must give you kuddos for that. That is some serious dedication!

Also, I thought Southlake was giving 1st, 2nd, 3rd for all the pools. Only noticed one 1st and 2nd but two 3rds. Could have just been put in wrong.

Joe please don't turn this into a VTD vs. ASA thing. It isn't one I just really want to know how they did it. I am sure alot of coaches would be interested also. Getting those girls to play two tournaments in one HOT weekend is nothing to sneeze at.

Ummmm...who cares?

If it bothers you that much though...I'll be happy to forward Tuggey's or Goodman's phone number so you can hear it from the horse's mouth. Or better yet, I'll even get you Gotcher's number so you can ask him the same. Which one would you like?

why would you need to do that when you are obviously one of them.

But once again you just don't get it. It doesn't bother me. I was curious how they did it. I think it takes alot of dedication to get your team to do that and compete well at them both. So dont try to make it into something it is not. That is why asked you to not make it that way.

Danny

Okay...okay...you finally did it. I'll admit it now...I'm GG. So there...are you happy now?

Just curious?   Let's see..."Oh, I'm just passin' by and was just wonderin'?" What...did Spuria or Rosales shove a bat up your azz sideways the last time you played 'em?

No Ken.

You see unlike you I can come on here and give out some nice comments.

To Batbusters Spuria and Mizuno 98
I really meant what I said. Kudos to you on playing two tournaments. I know how hard it is to have that sort of dedication to a team. I am praising you on that. I just thought you might tell us some of your secrets.

Now I am finished with this since Joe will not take anything seriously.

Good Luck to both of you

Wait! Wait!! Don't go yet! Anyone who goes to the trouble of posting and calling out Southlake, Spuria, Rosales, Ken and Matt certainly is looking for a good fight...along with some girly gossip...

I promise...I'll get serious!

...why don't we start with talking about your team???

VTD = Vic The Dick??

A tournament just wants its entry fees, no matter what else is happening on a given weekend.

Why I am confused about Southlake...there was a wait list to get in the tournament and then at the last minute they are begging teams to play an extra game to make up for a team that dropped out. Why not get a team to fill the spot from the wait list.

The scores were not maintained at the site or on vtd. The order of finish was a big mystery and not posted until late Monday.

Umps...except for the mullet ump, the rest will be lumped into the "not very good" column. This is one area that has to improve in the future no matter who sanctions the tournament...just like the teams, the ump pool has been dilluted.

There was one really good aspect...the grass looked great. Thank god the city of southlake closed the park for two weeks earlier this month to grow the grass.

Joe...before you ask...our team did not play well...in either tournament.

I've called an emergency executive session with the management to address this immediately...! Ken and Matt have been called to testify....

Asking about your team? I've carefully filed it under DGAS...Don't Give A Sh#t
