So. California Firecrackers looking to workout 10/12u

Looking to get my girls some work while were in Texas. Anything close to Frisco, or up to an hour away would be great.
We go to the batting cages in Frisco, but are just looking for some field time and camaraderie for my girls. First year 12 was part of the Nat. Championship Team in 10's. Catcher/1st/3rd/outfield . Firecrackers99. Other daughter is 1st year 10's. Firecrackers00.

if anyone could help us out, or steer us in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. If not we would love to come watch some games in the area.
In Frisco March 31 thru April 8th. ( school spring break )

Heaven forbid you give your kids a few days off for spring break. Just think how far behind they might get

Well one, i've learned reading heybucket, is responding without thinking really keeps this real interesting, but here goes.
We travel to Texas twice a year for the past 4 or 5 years. We try to do something new each time. We visit every college we can get to, take pictures on the softball fields and pick up baseball and softball apparel. We always hit the batting cages when we can. And they love to do so. We've been to at least one high school game. We try and give them the chance to experience other aspects of the sport from a different part of the country.
Getting behind in softball, that's not even close. We couldn't be happier with their progress and their character that they have been taught by both their team's and organization as a whole. It's about them meeting new girls, about leaving an impression ,of how there are kids from California that are pretty cool. But most of all what they were taught about being a Firecracker and how it runs deep in each girl and player.
I will heed your advice though, I'll make sure they don't crack open any books on their spring break. Deal.
