Justaburger...

How about some stats on D1s who haven't been slaves to the big organizations and their bank accounts? How many D1s said, "I can do this on my own" and did it playing with small, non- marquee teams.

If you give me a list of "non-marquee teams," I would be more than happy to check their websites to see if those stats are available.

I'm not sure how many D1 kids can say they did it "on their own." I would guess that the number would be very small since that's simply not how recruiting works.

It seems the intent of the list is to show those teams that are most helpful getting players to D1 schools, not the teams that are best at letting kids do it themselves. As to the latter, what would be the point of such a list?
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

There are some who have bucked the system. Dallas Tigers, Xtreme, Texas Trouble to name a few. Where's Elite in your stats. With all the coin J.D. puts in his pocket, certainly he's sending a few onto the next level?

For starters, Dallas Tigers would probably top the list at your "bank accounts" comment. That was not the point of this thread though. Xtreme and Texas Trouble are not known for sending players off to play DI ball as far as I know. I'll amend the list though. Give me a few.

The point of the list is to simply demonstrate to some that is doesn't necessarily take $3000-$5000/year to get in front of some D1s. I know of 4 or 5 in the DFW area who did it with smaller teams while not going broke in the process.

Not sure about Tigers...Xtreme has 1-2 in D1, Trouble 2-3 in the last year or two. There are a few Batbusters who got there on the cheap.

I am sure about the Tigers.
This is not a list on kids playing in college or how much money their parents spent getting them there. Since you seem versed on the subject though, could you create a thread that breaks down the finances of the teams I mentioned that are draining peoples bank accounts and treating their players like slaves?
